They'll try to make a point that's already been made here in this thread and that's very few people are observant enough to notice this. Apparently this is a problem because those who don't notice it are far more susceptible to it's effects. At least that's what a psychology master or two told me... When I ask about specific effects I get vague and speculative answers.

Thats a pretty good exit strategy for being caught doing something illegal isnt it? Kind of like me cheating on my Mrs and saying "oh baby its just jokes, I was just kidding around."

I must say that the Discovery channel doesnt put out quality shows anymore. Just pandering to the masses to make money and ignoring the truth. Which is what happens when you have shareholders. Its a dam shame we live in a world so obsessed with money. AS I have stated before what a waste of potential.

My apologies, I could not link the original pic due to photobucket being a pain in my a$$.

The Image of the first triangle has a woman and man in the center about to have sex with the all seeing eye watching. Off to the left is also someone watching who it looks like is ejaculating. This is a pornographic image designed to subliminally encourage people into perhaps deviant sexual behaviour? (possibly).

Extremely disturbing.

I had read a thread on here, or seen something on youtube that there will be something on tv that everyone will see, and it will do something to us all.....Yes, it does sound far-fetched, but, is it really??? It makes you wonder....

Subliminal messaging is used all around you to modify or influence your behavior. One very large grocery chain experimented with it a few years back. Most groceries play background music in the store which you may or may not pay attention to while you're shopping. First, the type of music is carefully selected to get you to purchase more. More disturbing though this particular grocery chain placed a subliminal message behind the music. They were testing to see if they could reduce "in-store spoilage" a grocery store term for theft and consumption of products not paid for. The message was "I am honest, I won't steal" repeated over and over behind the music. They tested this in a number of locations and with different demographic clientele and in every case in store spoilage was reduced significantly. This is not an urban myth, i have first hand knowledge of this experiment and firmly believe the results. While some my say this is not an abuse of subliminal messaging since it reduces a social ill, it is none the less a form of behavioral and mind control.

Here is the post from a thread that i made a few weeks ago. It was dismissed, trivialized or certain parts ignored by everyone except a single other poster. I know it's a bit long but just read it and see what you think, it has alot to do with this post by the OP here

The last 3 months has yielded at least 2 out 5 people flashing the hand sign at some points during our face to face interaction. two women who were housekeepers for me flashed the sign at some point while i were talking to them. My dads niece flashed it when she was explaining something to me. A therapist at my physical therapy clinic had flashed it when she was was pointing which way a restaurant that i wanted to go too was. I see people forming the sign when they talk to one another. Amongst others things, it's EVERYWHERE, and subliminal suggestion is a proven way of changing one's actions through repeated exposure to the material without the viewer noticing. This is one of the result's we are seeing here. Anybody else notice this?

t.v. and radio shows seem to be more blatant and pushy in various agenda as of lately. I was watching an episode of judge Milian where a couple sued a motel owner for videotaping them through a hole or something. i noticed that being recorded by cameras, who should have the right to do it, and peoples feelings towards it had more garnered weird, scripted- feeling a discussion than a t.v. trial. Every other sentence throughout the 10 minute trial was about being recorded by video- cameras or the word itself in it. The dialogue was unnatural, and organized;
Millian: "so he was recording you with a video-camera?"

Plaintiff: "yes, he had the video-camera recording us. We didn't feel unsafe or anything, but he should have told us if he was recording us with the video- camera."

Milian: "Oh man, i cant believe he was recording a you with a video- camera!"

Plaintiff: "yeah, people should just know then it would be fine. They will be alright with it cuz they know it's there for a reason."

Milian: "You like being watched by video- cameral?"

Plaintiff: "Yeah! I could do a dance!" or something rediculous like that.. literally not far form the original dialogue at all
You could also see the judge waving and her swirling her hands excessively into devil signs while she explains surveillance law, and those intermissions where people standing around outside the courthouse comment on the case had some of those people pointing their eye with a wink FOR NO REASON when they were asked about there feelings about video- cameras.

I was watching an episode of animal planets animal rescue where they go and talk sense into people giving up animals they have no business keeping. In this episode, an elderly lady is not taking care of a macaque monkey she found too well, and there's this scene where they focus in for an uncomfortable amount of time on a picture of the monkey dressed in full U.S. military uniform holding a mini M16, and that was because there son is a marine. The 3 minutes into the episode the show shifts focus on RFID chips; the monkey has one from its previous owner but wasn't registered into the system, so its a race to see who had it implanted it and to see of they can have it registered. The shows hosts repeats in different sentences how RFID chips are wonderful for tracking animals, and how they can help people, too. They tell the lady to call a RFID security expert overt to track the chip; when the man comes over, the lady, on camera, asks the man for identification; the camera focuses in on the man pulling out some giant card and paperwork from his pocket and handing it to the lady, who the camera focuses on actively scanning and returning with a polite "thank you". Both the hosts and the lady go on to say that it's necessary to show identification because their are dangerous people all over the place in disguise and they repeatedly reiterate the simple fact that if you present Identification, everything would go smoothly.

I was listening to a string of morning radio shows on 98.5 fm that focused on social, political, and religious matters. I never really listen to the radio, so i would not know if radio programing always had all the callers believing in anything fantastical or not reported on the news as idiots.
One of the talk programs had listeners 2 centing on the discussion of God and his existence; the callers who believed were one of tbose loud, irrational fanatic church- goer's who avoided, misunderstood, or shotgun blasted any and all valid points made by the host while she preached and shouted; the other was some dude who was in the middle of his wake and bake. The third caller was an even tempered, intelligent good sir throwing dates and names all willy nilly. The two characters were EASILY made fun of and mocked by the hosts jeering them with "jesus loves me" and "PRAISE GOD!", while the good sir was validated and agreed with.
The next talk show had a host discussing British douchbaggery through torture, forced confession and prosecution of random civilians suspected of being IRA ops during British occupation of the country. Apart from the show focusing on distancing innocent, hard working Irishmen from the psycho IRA and there evil KABLOOM activities, a man the host invited on the show to discuss the Brits organizing torture and forced confession of himself and anybody in a given vicinity, IRA or not, had just cut off. He was describing how they beat the stuff out of him then threatened to slowly kill his family when the transmission goes dead. The host says woops, looks like we list him, then they move on to the next show. 3 1/2 hrs of nobody being cut off, then this man comes on, and his broadcast has tech difficulty.
Another show had Dr. Michio Kaku bring on some expert to disprove or rationalize anything supernatural or unexplained; ghosts, UFO's and intelligent life, bigfoot, Mayan predictions, whatever. Every 4 words from the guest was interjected with chuckling;like he was that perpetually amused of anything kooky sounding;

Kaku: "and what are your thoughts on UFO'S? There are alot of reports..."

guest: "Well, *HEHEHE* only 5% of sightings are indeed unexplained, *hoohoohoo*, but then the tinfoil hats go and blow that to the proportion of everything they see in the sky, *hehehhe*. They go on the internet and read kooky things which further makes them believe crazier things."

Kaku: "what about your thoughts on bigfoot? There are alot of reports..."

Guest: "*hehehe* well, there has always been this natural human tendency to instantly defer to the mystical and unbelievable when we see things *TEEEhehe* we cant quite fully recognize,so when they see undefined things in the woods *hehehe* their mind makes up creatures and other things."
The next show had a host insist that banning guns would prevent any more Sandy Hooks and columbines; one loud mouth shouted about nothing but protecting his right to own guns, while the other guest calmly and intelligently insists that guns won't hurt people unless law enforcement has 'em.

Ok so from your post I get the feeling that you believe in subliminal messages and that you have observed people using them either knowingly or unknowingly. Is that about the gist of the post or have I myself missed something far more subtle?

The reason I ask is because it is a long post and trying to get to the meat and potatoes of what your saying is important.

The reason its important is because whats going on here with the sub messages is communication on a very subtle level. Training oneself to read the subtle but not read INTO the subtle is a very important distinction. One must see whats there not simply create what we want to see. Thanks for the post.

Given the things corporations have done in the past to make a profit, this is the most believable story out there.

it looks like a jellyfish monster or something

actually what is being showed on that image is a highly explicit complied sexual acts, i could highlight them in different colors to show you but that would probably violate some of the rules here

Isn't it interesting (in a fun way) that the thousands of nerve endings connected to the main "sexual" very tiny skin-areas in both sexes not only prepare the brain to want to procreate but also open up brain areas which chemically flood us with feelings desctribed as ecstasy and passion and, if prolonged even a little bit, transport the brain into a fifth circuit (Timothy Leary's 8-circuit model) state of consciousness awakening. Viva la nerve endings.

whoa whoa whoa wtf r u talking about rofl pm me more on this please something like sex magick or something "as a quick judge to your name" but please do tell

LMAO...As you mentioned, the images are old. Moreover, the letters RFEL are cartooned into the background. Look up rfel.com and you will see that it is a digital info embedding company. The specialize in high performance digital signal (DSP) technology. The firm works with the Department of Defense and wireless communication companies. Drones are also part of their work.

These guys have quite the dark sense of humor.

I'm usually all for this kind of stuff, but I think you guys are jumping the gun. Both clips are int he original cartoon from the 1970s, its trippy because that was the culture of the times. The short frame of the eye is most likely just a leftover from the editing process that the editors themselves missed. They probably has used a different segment from the original cartoon at first and then decided to use something else but when they clipped it back out they missed the first frame or so which had already been merged with the previous section. In Fact The first image with the eye and nose is about the same place that the colored eye clip ends. They flow into eachother in the original cartoon, so the editor probably just had the same clip at an earlier part of the film and had to move it to a later part and in doing so left the last frame behind by mistake.

I do some sound clipping from time to time and it's very easy to leave remnants of one clip or another behind after you'd merged them if you decide to try to take them out again.

Cheers.

'How Stuff Works' and 'The Stuff They Don't Want You to Know' are very good for informing the viewer on the primary points of a topic and painting a clear picture in a short amount of time. I'm like you TiM3LoRd, I find the videos great.

My impression of the 'The Stuff They Don't Want You to Know' series is that the producers want to display an obvious correlation between the mysterious subject matter and the conspiracy of secret societies and other closely guarded secrets.

I've always felt the images they edit into their films are there, not for subliminal messaging, but to give the audience a feeling that they are learning about these secret chapters of society. I believe they really want to form a strong link between what they are doing and the audience's belief that they are being informed about particular, factual aspects of topics that have remained hidden from their knowledge.

Seeing these frames of mysterious pictures, most of which are commonly believed to represent several secret sects of our society, is not something they have hidden in their films, they are meant to be seen and linked to 'forbidden knowledge'

When I first saw the single frames of the highly suspect images I thought they were there for subliminal purposes too. After watching most of their videos, I now think it is just the way they edit and produce these shorts.

If there really is a subliminal attempt to manipulate the viewer's perception, I don't believe it is meant for anything other than giving the viewer the feeling that they are uncovering facts about these hidden mysteries of the 'Elite' and the secret societies which they allegedly hold membership to.

I may be entirely wrong, but I don't believe they attempted to include any images that were meant to be seen only by our subconscious.

Apologies if this has been mentioned, but I recommend watching BBC - Century of the Self.

The Century of the Self is a British television documentary series by Adam Curtis. It focuses on how the work of Sigmund Freud, Anna Freud, and Edward Bernays influenced the way corporations and governments have analyzed, dealt with, and controlled people.

I still don't see all that sexual imagery in the first screenshot on the OP...call me naive but I'm just not seeing anything other than a few stylized lines and the eye. I was one of the first to flag this thread and still am NOT seeing what you're all seeing. I'm glad I don't watch TV anymore.

Either way, I think it's more likely that Discovery just put it there to play with the viewer considering the subject matter of the show.

Still, that first image is pretty disturbing no matter how you add it up.

I see all these posts saying how explicit, obscene, lewd, and pornographic that image is
Can it really be called pornographic if it's not even apparent to some people?

I see that "sack" you refer to...kinda in the center below the eye? Sorry, I'm not buying it. I see nothing sexual or pornographic about that image.

The all-peeping eye..now THAT is disturbing.

Hope this helps you...

Artist's Depiction of an alleged UFO Battle in the Sky, During Medieval Times'

The morning of 1561 proved to be one of the strangest events in history, this may have been the first recorded war of the worlds, only our world was just the battle ground. Blue, black and red balls along with disks and blood red crosses that emerged from 2 huge black cylinders and battled in the skies over Nuremberg Germany. Here is a picture of a woodcut made by Han Glaser of the event......

.....Even more astounding was that a similar event took place 5 years later, on August 7th 1566, the same black spheres were seen fighting again, this time over Basel Germany this time the balls would either vanish or appeared to be "consumed" by the other. Here is another woodcut from that event.
