Dogs can be used for alarm systems. That's about it. I very expensive trained dog is useful if your commanding it. Otherwise, a aggressive and loud dog is simply useful to deter those looking for easy scores. A gun is for ending a confrontation. A dog is more like a alarm. A really good aggressive dog is a law suit waiting to happen. It may be useful in the world turns to #, but in the mean time it will get your ass in trouble.
