I just came across this photo. This was taken in Washington State.
I spent 2 years stationed at the Submarine base on the hood canal. I absolutely loved the scenery.

I offer you a Ballistic Missile submarine, returning home from patrol!

LOL: I've been there and done that more times than I care to remember. It is much less beautiful when you are stuck inside that thing on your way out for 70 days or more.
