She couldn't have taken the mark. It's not instituted until the mid-way point of Daniel's 70th week by the antichrist.

.....what? Eh? Can someone please explain this?

Why does the difference matter? If I draw it on a paper or on my skin? Also, why does it matter if I am famous or not? I am not seeing this connection here. So she has a triangle on herself; my wife has a crab in a fantasitc spot representing her zodiac, maybe she is the anti-Christ or whatever.....I am just not seeing how this all works.

Interesting observation! Maybe someone willing to tattoo a triangle or pyramid symbol on their right hand is also willing to take the "true" mark of the beast when it comes?

Notice closely the word "MAYBE". Ask the OP how this all works, they are the one implying it, I gave my two-cents with a "possibility" to each their own with tattoo choices! Frankly I could care-less about Brittany or her tattoo.

Can you please explain this more? I'm not understanding what you mean.

Also, this is an incredibly interesting topic that could go either way. That would be very bad if she carried the mark.

The seven-year period of time that the antichrist is supposed to be on Earth is called Daniel's 70th week. From the 70 weeks prophecy given to Daniel by Gabriel in Daniel 9. Which Christ also alluded to in Matthew 24 as the key to the end of this age. The last 3 1/2 years of that 7-year period is called the "great tribulation" by Christ. Which begins when the antichrist sits in the temple and declares to be God, Jesus Christ, demands worship, institutes the "mark", and kills anyone who refuses.

Well, if we're letting go of logic for a moment and talking of biblical prophecies then I would have to go with the idea that the human body this god gave us to live in is a temple. When we willingly defile our bodies in any way, this would be the mark of the beast.

Tattoos and piercings means you have turned away from god and have accepted Satan.

That's absurd. If that's the case then technically so are people who don't go outside with at minimum 25 SPF sunscreen on, since likewise they are damaging their skin cells by UV rays.

.....Ooooookay. If you say so!
Can I ask which temple?

The third temple to be built one day in Jerusalem. The one the temple institute is planning to build at this moment

Oh, yes, I've heard of those nutters. They want to build it on Temple Mount, which would be the monumentally stupid idea ever, as it would start a massive regional war.

It's supposed to be built soon AFTER a 'massive regional war' that is won handily by Israel. Israel's enemies will be decimated in that war and won't have the resources to stop them.

Eh? Just because they will have lost one man in ten, I think that they'd still keep attacking! And then there's the little matter of world-wide opinion. It would be a political disaster of the first magnitude.

The prophecies say noting about one man in 10. Her enemies during the Gog/Magog war will be decimated. The person who revives those armies will be the antichrist, but it takes many years to restock the weapons of war to do so. Israel builds the temple in the advantageous time after the war victory.

By this logic, so would cutting or dyeing your hair, shaving, having the wrong kind of hat, wearing makeup, getting a suntan, or taking medication.

Eating food with preservatives, wearing deodorant, ... see the absurdity of legalism and Phariseeism?

Decimate means to lose one man in ten. Decimation was a Roman punishment - that's where the word come from.

Sorry, I didn't realize I had begun speaking Latin. I meant it in the common English context.

If you're hung up over my use of the word 'decimated' above then you can substitute obliterated instead.

OMG that is so funny!

Defiling the body with tattoos is absurd to you, but a man walking on water, bringing the dead back to life, and rising after his dead body was rotting for three days is sooo believable. OMG, I can't stop laughing!

How can you use the word 'logic' when speaking on biblical matters? Is it logical that a mystical magical being created the whole universe, told the Jews to cut off a piece of the penis, and is so loving of mankind that he told the Israelites to slaughter every man, woman, and child of the Canaanites? But it's not logical that tattoos defile god's temple? Really?

no don't think so

but it could be a mark of a secret society as a poster already pointed out.

the mark of beast will not be implemented until the anti christ is revealed.

Exodus 13

14 “In days to come, when your children ask you, ‘What does this mean?’ say to them, ‘With a mighty hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the Lord killed the firstborn of both people and animals in Egypt. This is why I sacrifice to the Lord the first male offspring of every womb and redeem each of my firstborn sons.’ 16 And it will be like
a sign on your hand and a symbol on your forehead

Are you actually believing that having yourself tattoo'ed,means you turn your back on your Source, the Lord Yahushua, the Spirit of Life? Or if you're a Christian, getting a tattoo(say, the cross,or a white dove,eg,then you're turning your back on God? Because if you are, seriously,i WANT to know how your reasoning goes-what in the world would give you such an idea? I honestly don't understand you.It makes no sense, please,if you care to explain?
