Fail again. When will people stop believing the crap that spews out of their mouths. Like many have said if it was genuine just release the info, don't with hold encryption keys etc. Do it or go home. Hey if they could make a positive difference in the world I am all for it, but time and time again nothing materializes out of it.

LOL Ok, not the most reputable source i admit. Still, i felt it should be added..

Inquisitr

On January 26, 2013, USSC.Gov was hacked by a person or persons claiming to be members of Anonymous. The hackers named the attack Operation Last resort and they posted a moving tribute to fallen internet activist Aaron Swartz, plus a list of demands for the United States government. The message warned the government that unless they began to respect Human Rights, freedom, and Democracy, damaging information would be revealed to the American people. Now, a week later, another member of the internet’s activist community, Anonymous X-SecT, is warning the public that a government intelligence agency was responsible for Operation Last Resort.

Apparently they also have a petition up on Change.Org about it...
Change.Org Petition for Anonymous

This operation itself breaks the basic core ideals of anonymous. Not to mention has signs of a complete fraudulent false flag perpetrated by the very people holding us back. We are not condemning those participating, only distancing ourselves from the message of this operation which goes too far.

The metaphorical speaking style in this video release is not clear to average mainstream TV audience. For them, we are now criminals. They see threats, claims that we will not negotiate, and metaphors with military equipment and apocalyptic wargames.

And finally we have this from the Xsect facebook page
X-Sect

So to the person or persons responsible for hacking our other page Anonymous x-Sect v2.0.....

What were you scared we would say?! Taking control of our page will/did not stop us it was only a speed bump! We have ran over them before and will continue to do so.....

So did you accomplish anything other than showing everyone you fear our words?!

And Anonymous (or CIAnonymous?) is revving up their rhetoric. Their OpLastResort twitter page is posting a lot of activity recently, now that it seems Eric Holder stood up his meeting (or did he?) with Darrell Issa and Elijah Cummings about the Aaron Swartz suicide and his involvement (and Carmen Ortiz etc.)

Link to story of document released about drone strikes being legal in the USA:
EXCLUSIVE: Justice Department memo reveals legal case for drone strikes on Americans

Link to Document (PDF) from Mainstream Media (MSN.com)

Does this mean Anon will finally release a redacted document, or was the document from Anon? The MSM doesn't say... as usual... much about their sources. This could possibly be a test to see if the public even reacts to news that drones may be used against them.

Still waiting on Anon who are getting "impatient" -- but judging on past actions nothing will happen:

Answer the dam questions or the sock puppet gets it!!! #oplastresort #floodthecourt #stopthebull# Deny and Delay will not work any more!!

@TheJusticeDept Fine you want to play a game how about a nice game of chess? or maybe Donkey Kong, Pac Man or maybe both!! #oplastresort

When i read this the recent attacks by Anonymous started to make a lot of sense....In short, Military Deployment on U.S. soil COULD be possible based entirely on a perceived cyber threat....

Hacker in Chief

A senior administration official told the Times that the US has so far kept its cyber capabilities restrained and that the new rules could allow the administration to exercise its full potential.
“There are levels of cyberwarfare that are far more aggressive than anything that has been used or recommended to be done,” the official said.
The administration has already used computer worms to cripple other countries’ infrastructure, including a series of attacks against Iran’s nuclear power plants, one of which took out nearly 1,000 of the 5,000 centrifuges of the Natanz plant. The attack was controlled from inside the Pentagon, which now has a new Cyber Command and a growing budget that would allow it to conduct more extensive cyberattacks.

Luckily ATS discusses everything...

Washington Post

According to persons close to the White House who have seen the order and spoke with the Post, Presidential Policy Directive 20 (PP20) aims to “finalize new rules of engagement that would guide commanders when and how the military can go outside government networks to prevent a cyberattack that could cause significant destruction or casualties.” Attorneys with EPIC are now demanding that they see this secret order to find out what exactly that could mean, citing the possibility of putting boots on the ground in the United States if the government argues it’s imperative for cybersecurity.
In the FOIA request, EPIC attorneys Amie Stepanovich and Ginger McCall ask to see information about PP20 because they fear it may enable “military deployment within the United States” by way of a “secret law” that lets the National Security Agency and Pentagon put armed forces in charge of protecting America’s cyberinfrastructure and crucial routes of communications.

RT

The National Security Agency has shot down a Freedom of Information Act request for details about an elusive presidential order that may allow the government to deploy the military within the United States for the supposed sake of cybersecurity.
The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) reports on Tuesday that their recent FOIA request for information about a top-secret memo signed last month by US President Barack Obama has been rejected [PDF]. Now attorneys for EPIC say they plan to file an appeal to get to the bottom of Presidential Policy Directive 20.
Although the executive order has been on the books for a month now, only last week did details emerge about the order after the Washington Post reported that Pres. Obama’s signature to the top-secret directive could allow the White House to send in recruits from the Pentagon to protect America’s cyber-infrastructure.
Because Presidential Policy Directive 20 is classified, the exact wording of the elusive document has been a secret kept only by those with first-hand knowledge of the memo. For their November 14 article, the Post spoke with sources that saw the document to report that the directive “effectively enables the military to act more aggressively to thwart cyberattacks on the nation’s web of government and private computer networks.”

And now this on the twitter:

2^57,885,161-1

The new largest prime number? (twitter)

Edit to add: This looks to be a new prime number discovered and obviously the person(s) behind the OpLastResort tune into this.

Perhaps because of an old prime number search and some people behind anon are old school.

Warmongering is not a part of the Anon way. Your government is currently engaged in talks about reform. Anon would much rather have the system work itself out than be forced to tear it down.

Just like Guy Fawkes did in V for Vendetta. Oh wait, nope, the Guy Fawkes character tore down the system, no talking. Perhaps Anon should change their mask/identity to a less radical icon... Maybe to Hans Blix or something.

Anonymous has announced plans to disrupt Obama's State of the Union address online feeds in some fashion...
Source

A call to arms has been issued by Anonymous, the shadowy underground collective of hackers and activists, and the group says they hope to disrupt select online broadcasts of the annual address in protest of President Obama and his administration’s assaults on the civil liberties and constitutional rights of Americans, as well as the world’s Internet.

“Operation SOTU,” or “OpSOTU,” is latest mission from Anonymous, and members involved in the initiative say it will serve as a decisive factor in the “battle royale for the future of the Internet.”

Soon I think Anon will "cry wolf" too many times to a point where they become the Jesse Jackson of the internet. No one really cares for him in the public, as he just talks a lot, but the media just will not stop covering every word spoken.. like Anon.

Now Anon is making more "Operations" to distract the people from OpLastResort - Which they still haven't delivered. (CI)Anon fails. Still no redacted documents. Still no encryption keys. All a complete hoax by an attention whore.
