I realized that freedom is just a perspective.

Being able to do what ever you want, may be freedom to one person - but to another it is slavery to primitive instinct.

Being absolutely controlled without any choices may seem like slavery to one person - but to another it is freedom of responsibility...

Freedom is a perspective.

To me, freedom is understanding that I don't actually know anything for certain, and that opens up the mind to any possibility that may happen, but some may say even this isn't freedom and it is just slavery to chaos/ignorance...

Freedom is taking responsiblity for yourself and being moral..... Treat everyone else like you would want to be treated.

That is just another perspective.
In some people's eyes, responsibility is slavery.

That is a rule, how can 'follow this rule' be freedom? it takes away your freedom.

There never is certainty, but there is knowing and understanding, so no need for chaos and ignorance, although the world is in darkness.
People tend to think knowledge is key to civilisation, but look into the world of today, and see that it merely divides and corrupts when it comes to religion, economics and politics.
Science is good knowledge, how to write and read, how to manufacture food and clothes, how to build homes, how to work with nature and grow our food.

Maybe we should leave 'dom' away, and just be free?

Knowledge is the human reason for existence. Take a look around and you see that were the only beings who need large amounts of thorough knowledge. Other animals don't need it as much and they never will. So intelligence is not the epitome or purpose for life. Therefore, the world cannot be justly judged by it. We determine status according to knowledge so we think we are the most superior species on the planet, but by the universes standards, it seems to me that greatness isn't determined by how much you know, but by how well you can love and appreciate.

I agree with you in regard to knowledge, but what you said about love and appreciation doesn't seem to fit. Animals just do what they enjoy, they are not making "love" or "appreciation" a goal like humans. If they are angry they'll bark. They're not practicing unconditional anything - except honesty.

Science is practical knowledge, we use it in daily life, and yes we need that.
Knowledge as such isn't bad, and we build up on that practical knowledge.

But also there is the structure 'me' which consists of knowledge,
This knowledge is the great divider, and this knowledge is the past, always old and passed on to the future.
We teach our children, think ahead, have goals, want a better tomorrow.

You were asking about freedom,
The question than is, can we be free from the past, which is the 'me'
The i who thinks and identifies itself with a nationality, a religion, a political preference, a title, the i who strives for succes, who longs for power and position, to be rich and powerfull, to be someone.
We become what we are taught, a copy of the bible or quran, the culture we grow up in produces us, and we approach life with our traditional background.
We, like our parents, will also pass it on to our children, so the past becomes the future, maybe slightly modified but in essence the same.
No freedom, just a repitition of what was, the past, the old.
If we are unable to be free from that, we can only go on repeating and stay divided in our way of life.

To me the very essence of freedom means the emptying of our consciousness from its content.
Only when the old dies can something new be born.

Because we are divided we have to find ways to unite, to life together in harmony, which means negotiations for peace while conflict is at our feet.
In essence we are all just human beings, no more, no less, our divided state is brought about through knowledge, what we are taught, where and how we grow up.

Earthlings because to me humans are no different than other earthlings (animals) with wich we share this beautifull blue planet.

We lack intelligence, we don't know what love is, our love is mostly aimed and excluding the rest.
We kill for fun, for sports, for a trophee on the wall, or because we aern money with it, therefore we also drill deep into our mother, habitat damage, chopping of forrests, all for money.
And we kill eachother, muslim against christian, west against middle east, black against white, f*ck the poor, feed the rich, follow the leader, he knows, he is responsible, not i, i'm just a man in the street who loves his wife, until the moment this socalled love has vanished.

Could not sleep, its 7am now

Without any kind of moral sense, we are animals.

As animals, we take what we need. period.

I believe that is what makes humans different than animals.

"knowledge" is only relative, without a moral sense.
