IP Tracing and IP Tracking (64.19.142.13)

Since I got PeerBlock everything loads a lot faster.

The thing is, this is the only site I experience this problem on. Which is why I thought that maybe it was an adserver or something.

I'm not a computer professional but chances are you can safely block this IP without loosing any features on ATS.

Every time I open ATS PeerBlock blocks a bunch of things.. Here's what it blocked when I hit a quote button to post this reply.

It happens on the link to this thread, it happens on the "new topics" page.. well basically every page on ATS.

Odd that you see it hang on an IP but a bare IP doesn't appear for me in any link on the page. Usually one sees a URL not the associated IP unless the link is only an IP address.

Might have to do with your service provider but then someone else seems to see that IP from here.

Most likely an acceleration service. Usually for mobile by could be TWC has added it to their system.

What's interesting is that they tout more streamlined internet (albeit for mobile) yet you were "waiting". Just curious...is your router secure?

Anyone by chance read the stuff about Nokia intercepting https (man in middle) in order to accelerate the mobile service? Pretty scary.

Kind of what I was alluding to. I would think that a mobile internet connection "borrowing" a few morsels of bandwidth from an unsecured router wouldn't be that big of a stretch.

Do you have a router that can filter the IP? If not do a whois and add the hostname to your hosts file.
