I've seen UFO battles with lasers during the night before; and a giant translucent orb that slowly pulsed from solid to clear in the broad daylight. I was at the laundromat at the time using the payphone.

I ended up looking like a real lunatic when I ran inside trying to alert people to the orb. Woe is me.
