Why would anyone ever need 120 million soldiers to fight one country? Or even two? Logistically that's almost impossible and extremely pricey. If you deploy for instance 100 combat divisions which is overkill already that's already about two million soldiers, for one country. More than enough to deal with anything that stands in your way.

The 120 million man and woman army is essentially the current potential of the United States. This in relation to men and woman between the ages of 18 and 40, living in the United States.

During WW2 the US military wason the scale of about 18 million troops and at the time the US population was about 132 million.

Yes, it might be the US' potential, but they will never ever field such a number.

There is a saying, "never say never."
In relation to Chinas population the numbers are just under 700 million

Strangely enough in Russia it is about 70 million.

Numbers like this matter in a scenario similar to the the attack on Pearl Harbor .

I mean the idea that after such an event 50 million Americans would immediately volunteer to join the military is not unimaginable.

In such a context training and preparation should take about as long as it did during WW2.

You don't need to flick a channel to see Iran will be the next target.

The propoganda machine has been working overtime on Iran for the last three decades.

mentions of Iran having nuclear weapons are going back as early as the 70's.

Achmadinejad has been purposely made out to be a bad villain due to errors made in translation.
(A so called fact being repeated over and over is that he said he wanted to wipe out Israel from the map but what he actually said was that he wanted to wipe out the Zionistic regime that is responsible for expanding the Israelic borders every year basically stealing the land from the palestines.)

Iran supposedly funds many terrorist organisations in the middle east while forgetting the CIA was responsible for training and funding Al Quada and Bin Laden and are now supplying the rebels in Syria with weapons and vehicles.

France recently blocked out all communications coming in from Iran to their country.

The media portrays Iran as a violent and retarded country that is bend on world domination by nuclear weapons but in the last 100 years Iran has not attacked any country contrary to the United States.

By now, most of the world believes all the propoganda about Iran thus making it so much easier to gain support from the people to attack Iran in a pre-emptive strike.

If there are any doubts take a look at the history of the United States.

dude, seriously? stop dreaming.

1. your economy and infrastructure would disintergrate
2. if the us ever had to draft that many people its because the mask has finally slipped, and it reveals a monster
3. 9-11 was on the scale of pearl harbor, in terms of casualty and cost, possibly greater
4. it would not "take about the same time" as WW2, dude, skill sets, horses for courses, technology
5. raptors over rifles
6. your assertion that iran and iraq fought to a standstill then US toasted Iraq ignores some salient facts. ie Iran was fighting Iraq, the US, Saudi money. and that Iraq had been hosed down for thirteen years before the second gulf war
7.your numbers exclude the obvious. drug abusers, criminals, gang members, obesity
8. quote...40-50 million soldiers should be enough,... lol.

vapid thoughts.

to the OP.
war to MSM is porn, war porn is MSM biggest rater, its more wishful thinking than prediction, a freudian slip

taking out the Iranian theocratic leadership would have 2 immediate results
1. a new leader picked by the theocracy
2. an eternal enemy.

good luck with that.
