Does anyone else find the technology just a tad bit creepy? It's almost like the screen is alive. I'm sure that a keyboard isn't the only shape the screen can take.

What if the tablet got infected with a virus and started displaying raised satanic shapes and latin phrases.

Not as creepy as Google Now knowing when I'll be going home soon or what days I have off without even telling it!

I have a feeling it'll be Google and Apple that basically run the world someday. Who knows, they may even merge into one mega tech company in the distant future. Microsoft just seems to always be late to the party.

That is so cool!

I didn't expect technology like that to develop anytime soon. Awesome

This is amazing!!!!

Why stop at tablets? Perhaps in the future touchscreen phones could have it as well.

I'm getting rid of my blackberry next month to buy a Samsung S3 ( I love all the extra features it has.) I know I'm gonna miss the buttons. lol

Yes, very good idea and would probably cost them less to do it as there are fewer combinations. There is no longer any reason for modern technology to be inaccessible.

It's cool, but the OP is just a sentence and the video....

I think this technology is pretty neat. One can easily see how you can find practical uses for it-crime scene evidence dimension specs in the lab before you get the item there-blueprint dimensions shown to clients in a 3-D format so they approve it faster-kisses given to a soldier before he soldiers on. It is scary to think of these things as possible but we've been heading in this direction for a long time now. And there are ways in which it can be used in ways it shouldn't. But isn't that the way all technology is?

Very cool, but is it environmentally friendly? Say if the screen or edges were to get damaged/unsealed like i've seen on other tablets then leaks this micro fluid in your backpack or on a coffee table before you lay your bagel on it

I guess that could be said about a lot of things nowadays but something to consider.

Unfortunately, cool fingers will not work on these screens.
Please correct me if I'm wrong (with a link).
