I'm not totally sold on it yet, but I'll wait to make judgement. All I know is that thing must be HUGE whatever it is.

gortex is going to be late so he sent me to tell you that is just a Dorito, a lens flare, and a reflection

seriously though, that's pretty neat. seems the quality of these kind of pics is improving.

Are there any higher resolution images of this?
It looks very symmetrical for debris doesn't it?

I wish I could say otherwise but to me and IMHO, it actually does look like debris.

Check the links in the OP. I believe they have hi-res images there.

If it was debris would they have allowed the ISS to be so close to it?

Well it looks like a black triangle layer, placed over the earth.... I'm sorry OP, honestly, but if this is the best the latest technology can come up with? You really think the camera's on board the ISS can't zoom any further than that? Haha (Personally I can see these things going viral, people really are that stupid) What a sorry state we are in to be honest.

Out on the internet there's quite a discussion about NASA removing those images from their site. I hadn't raised my 'meh' level enough to find out and now I know. Same images that have been in the same place for, what, over 5 years?

It seemed unlikely that NASA would be hosting the filers for so many years that there are probably 1000s of copies all over the place...then panic and drop 'em.

Then again you know those dastardly NASA guys and 'hiding stuff in plain sight.'

"OMFG! We've got proof of aliens and must deny it by posting the images up on a publicly accessible website under the internationally-known NASA brand-name! It's the ONLY way to stop people finding out the TRUTH!!!"
