Jello Biafra split off from the band because they were becoming too coroprate. He's now a political activist and ran for the green party nomination in 200. He does spoken work shows now and is currently with the "Spitfire Tour", which includes such names as Henry Rollins.

After a legal battle with Jello, the Dead Kennedys went on to get a new front man and tour occasionally (They toured as the Ex-kennedys for a while). They were here in Utah abput a year and a half ago, I saw them, they aren't good without Jello.
