Should homosexual PE teachers be allowed in the locker rooms of the same sex?

The point is, anyone likening Homosexuality to Paedophilia or saying that they are the same... is just an idiot.

Saying that they go "hand in hand" is just absurd... they are no more hand in hand than Heterosexuality and Paedophilia.. and when you're talking about paedophilia, which is the attraction to Pre-Pubescent children, then neither Homosexuality or Heterosexuality even come into it... The person is a Paedophile... not a gay or straight paedo, just a paedo

Their sexual orientation doesn't really factor.


Liking or being attracted to a 16 or an 18 year old girl/boy does not make you a paedophile.

I'd be happy with banning it from tv, seperate changing rooms and a general anti gay curriculum being taught in schools that would about cover it for me push that # back underground if you pardon the pun.

Heres what we got general acceptance of gay in all aspects of life an explosion of peadophiles which is the next step up the laddder for a gay pervert and they all go perverse the older they get it goes hand in hand for #s sake, Kids get taught gay is ok in schools and parents are being taught that their children have that choice. And to top that # off the gays themselves are smashing the scene in everything they project style and cool excellent night life and colourfull parades it's all good till the wrinkles come then that old grey gay just wants to have fun with your 10 year old son.

Yes, I teach my kids right from wrong. Hate (which is what you teach your kids) is wrong. Acceptance of others is right.

Pretty simple, really.

Do you think your kids will never meet a gay person in their life? That theyll never have a gay classmate, or teacher, or coach, or see a gay couple in the store? What will you tell them? You will tell them "its disgusting and wrong", and thus, teach them that it is ok to hate a fellow human being.

OP, your society is the problem. There is a psychological link between nudity and sexuality that simply should not be there. Many other societies do not have this insane link and function very well.

Historically, society was bent by two forces, The Catholic Church and a string of crazy Queens of England who covered chair and table legs so they wouldn't excite men.

If you want to see how it should and could work, visit a nudist club and see the difference.

Actually showering with others can make young people feel more secure about their bodies. Comparing their bodies to those unrealistic and unattainable ones they see in glossy magazine spreads, pornography or advertising is what can cause them to lack self-esteem. But if they see real bodies, no computer airbrushing or anything, just real people in all their shapes and sizes... then they can come to see that there is no "normal" and that they are not so bad after all.

I was saying in another thread a few comments about the ego on men ( or women) who think just because there's a homosexual in the area he will want THEM. Seems to be a very overinflated opinion of themselves. Im "straight", female , and definitely more visually oriented... and I can assure you that Id laugh or puke more than Id be turned on while observing random naked men in a shower room. Sure, me being a hetero Id notice the men have penises.. but not all men are alike and I definitely dont want all of them. Those penises are attached to the owners... and not all owners are even remotely preferable. Heteros have preference within the sex of their interest as much as homos, but somehow this isnt even considered... they just figure if youre a gay guy, you want ALL male inlets and protruberances .. indescriminantly.. regardless of what kind of moron its attached to!

First lets define why they would even be in the showers? And I think in this day and age perhaps we need to be looking into a whole lot more privacy for our children. Perhaps we have been wrong about the whole communal thing. I would not a woman in on my son nor vice-versa & perhaps gay or not I don't want any adult around my naked showering children. If it is crazy for people to accept children sleeping in MJs bed it ought to be at least red flag for an adult patrolling the showers.

Also, if we forbid gay PE instructors do we also need to forbid straight men from teaching girls and women from teaching boys? It's the same thing.... Do I need to link all of the teacher/student relationship issues that have happened?

What about gay bus drivers driving same sex children to school?

The only thing that makes this a huge issue is the dumb parents that think being gay is the same as being a pedophile.

I don't see any post by you from when a female teacher had a child with a male student or when a male teacher had relations with a female student...
