What the heck is it? I copy and paste it to a browser and I get nothing but a pic of what looks like a mainframe or somthing. Maybe I'm just a goofball... not sure how to see this thing though.

Most of you probably have the basic Windows telnet client installed....

Try doing this:
- Click the 'Start' button
- Click 'Run'
- In the run field, next to 'open' type (or copy and paste) the following:

telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

(some of you behind a firewall, possibly at work, may not be able to get to that)

OK, I don't even want to think how long that took to make!! That is sheer fortitude to be able to sit that long and create that.

Nostalgia, Nostalgia - How many of you were around in the old days when the BBS were kings. The on-line services were Compuserve, Dow Jones, and The Source.
You had CGA (three color graphics). Guys who had 1200 baud modems were really on the leading edge. Your hard drive was 10 Megabytes (Yes Megabytes). In those days, if you wanted your BBS to do pictoral presentations, you had to use ASCII characters. I wonder if some of the guys that did that were around in those days.
