Just coincidence, stick a beard on any old man with a full face and they could resemble Marx.

Well Karl Marx wasnt really an evil philosopher was he?

A fact that i dont think very many people know, is that Stalin was Saddam's Godfather. This is for sure, im not to sure but i also think they were distant cousins or distant realtives.....freaky!!

Channy - Karl Marx was an economist first. Other than the Communist Party Manifesto (1848), his other books, like Das Kapital, were rather arcane.

where does it say that?

I'd like to know that too. Saddam Hussein would have to have some Georgian ancestry for that... and I don't know how to account for the "religion jump", as Iossip Djugatchvili (Stalin's real name) studied to be a priest before joining Lenin, while Saddam Hussein's family would have to be Muslim.

I've read that whilst in Eygpt Saddam took quite an interest in Stalin's "techniques", maybe Stalin was a role model of sorts.

Hold on you might be on to something here.

It's not just the moustache of Stalin and Saddam that are similar, but the haircut and eyebrows too.

I believe it was Saddam trying to resemble Stalin. Wanting to create an image of a strong socialist leader. (Yes Baath party was socialist, no matter how much Saddam shaked hands with republicans. Although probably partly because of those handshakes it turned more capitalistic in the 80's. But in the beginning resemblance to Stalin was probably not the worst thing to have for career advances.)

think we like to see the evidence on maybe a website or link. just cant go by your word and local radio station
