As an almost thirty-something, I've found myself in at a strange age. The older folks still see me as a child, and the youth do not listen. There are few things that are relevant throughout our lives, but this is one thing I've always found to be so.

Charlie said this is but the passing of greed. I hope, for all our sake, he's right.

I am twenty-nine and know exactly what you mean. Same situation here. The thing that messes with me the most is how complacent both of those groups are with the state of the world, only in their own ways.

Where are the rebellious youth? Where are the wizened elders? We are stuck in the middle unable to be accepted by people either set in their ways or apathetic to the world and lacking any critical thought.
