I agree. I could not have lived on my old farm without 'guns'. Rifle for the coyotes. Big gun(s) for the up close and personal confrontation with
bear. Horses - that yes - sometimes needed to be shot.
Would I use a .22 in any of those situations? Well, you know the answer as well as I do. It's no.
Did I carry ‘power’ with more than 10 when traveling into the grizz zone? You bet.
Keep something on my hip at all times because I was working alone? Right again.
Guns are nothing but a tool. You learn to use them, be responsible, take care of them and keep them out of the hands of children - just like fire.

The underlying problems we're seeing in social aggression has NOTHING to do with guns. Too bad the government can't spend the same money getting
people with needs help - instead of taking help (guns) out of the hands of people with needs.
