We should just make it easier for people to kill, because they could use anything anyway?

Nope.

People are going to kill if EVERY gun was wiped off this planet. Eventually some new implement in killing, or old one will take its place. People Kill. None of the tools in my shed are going to make a house, if I don't wield the tools. Same goes for Guns. Its a tool that should be respected.

And none of those things become instruments of destruction, unless someone decides to wield them, in that manner.

Yet but massive crime, murder, existed long before guns were ever invented............

This guy can do what ever the hell he wants to do, except use his weapon to kill innocent people.

I saw the pictures.

He didn't kill anyone, that I'm aware of........

What do i suggest?

Sticking to the damn us constitution and understanding the bill of rights, and getting a damn clue our rights do not come from government, they sure the hell do not come from my next door neighbor.

Getting back on topic about a guy with a gun.

1st amendment our rights to call out stupid government is for trying to ban guns based on looks
2nd amendment our god given right no matter what political pundits think it should mean
4th amendment the right of we gun owners to be secure in their property as per guns
5th amendment something that was already said we are not responsible for the Lanzas and Holmes and we shall not be held to answer for it.
6th amendment take us all to court and give us our rights to a fair trial

And the 10th amendment the powers NOT delegated to the Federal government, nor prohibited by it to the states are reserved to the states or the people.

Gun control is more than just a second amendment issue so what I suggest is people read before they tow the "official party line".

Do you agree that with the appropriate regulation, given the correct mathematical formulas that
accommodate stratified levels of citizen bodies would be the correct measure to implement
in a democratic society?

For example, a wait-list response act can be regulated given an appropriate prior benchmark
and the employees available to distribute those products.

Of course, I realize that the states do not currently have full control over their
legislation and neither do the provinces of Canada. Which is why both nations
need PM's and POTUS' that ascribed to Proportional Representation which is
exactly what we all had before we elected the Executive Orders or the Conservative
Government and it's National Instruments and Welfare Reform Program Syndicate

So you're saying that the country has become like those old westerns, where everyone in town carries a firearm so that they can protect themselves from outlaws? Is that your view of it? Didn't we escape from that scenario by having police departments run by citizens in our towns and neighborhoods?

Problem is I have never met a police officer I could carry in my pocket. But I can carry a gun in my pocket. Police respond after a crime has been committed they are rarely there to prevent one.

A lot of people don't trust other people that they dont know or even know, and many always think that people they dont know have ulterior motives.
Now imagine all those people with machine guns and home made bombs,Rocket launchers, bomber vest fighting helicopters, whatever !
Oh what a great place this is to live in !
I feel pretty safe

So what happens when another law abiding citizen carrying a gun spots this guy in the car park pulling out his rifle and spare clips from the boot of his car and thinks he's just spotted a guy about to go on a shooting spree and shoots him?

Oh the irony, it burns.

Anybody who's carrying a gun around isn't going to just up and shoot somebody before the first shot is fired. That would be ridiculous. I'm assuming you think because it's an AR-25 the guy has to be getting ready to go shoot up a cinema or shopping mall.
See the media has now conditioned Americans to expect that.

"We are social democracy governed under a republic"

People keep getting their terms mixed up and confused.

A republic by definition is a democracy, it is not two different systems. They cannot be separated. If the government does not represent the public it is not a republic.

Just like if the workers don't own the means of production it is not socialism. The US is not a social democracy

Social democracy is a political ideology that considers itself to be a form of reformist democratic socialism.[1] It advocates for a peaceful, evolutionary transition of society from capitalism to socialism.[2]

Social democracy

The US economy is capitalist and will remain that way until people wake up and change it.

Also not the correct thing..it is not a fear of weapons..it is a fear of who owns these weapons.

Letting any idiot own a gun is stupid and reckless. That would be where the background and other such laws would help. It is the only logical and rational thinking way..but gun owners are not these type of people...they live in constant fear...the bad men are out to get them. How anyone can live such a cowardly life is beyond me. Don't bring up the lie about how guns help you be equal with the government...your government has and always will screw you...your guns don't seem to be making any difference. One of the bigger lies.

The only reason guns make politicians quake...is when it is election time...they don;t want the gun owners to wet their pants and fear their weapons are being taken.

Lie number two is..it is because it the love for the constitution...yeah right..where were the cries of the constitution being screwed over in Arizona...by stopping and asking citizens for ID's? or when asking for ID's when voting? You know the part about discrimination...

The Equal Protection Clause of the 14th amendment of the U.S. Constitution

Also don't BS me that it was not about discrimination..it was about the fact the right thought Obama was using illegal minorities as a way to win. So how do you tell which minority was legal and which ones weren't?

So much BS and hypocrisy that the gun owners spread..it isn't even funny.

A republic IS a representative democracy.

Why do so many not know that?

A distinct set of definitions for the word republic evolved in the United States. In common parlance a republic is a state that does not practice direct democracy but rather has a government indirectly controlled by the people.

can't agree with your mean-spirited statement ... but i do now wonder, since the statement is a foundation in the Freudian philosophy, how would that be implemented in Obama's 'mental health' checks ??

Someone driving the car to get to point A and B, or the Guy who purposely runs someone over ?

Anything can be used as kill. A guns main purpose is to kill, or to sit on a shelf all day.

But you're making a ridiculous argument.

Yes anything can be used to kill, so I guess we should just allow people to have any kind of weapon they want eh? We should just make it easier for people to kill, because they could use anything anyway?

People generally don't shoot up crowds with cars, or knives, or bats. You will never fix the problem of crime by arming everyone.

How do you equate having a weapon with being a killer?
