Maybe it is where you live.... It seems obvious that open carry is somewhat common in your neck of the woods. Kind of like when I go to a gun range it seems everyone has guns, out in the open, mind you...scary stuff...

The whole 3 round burst thing, it is still considered a machine gun and needs a class III license, and most likely a gun pre 1986....oh BTW if it is legal it is worth 10,000 to 20,000 so I don't think we need to worry about the bad guys having them....

The difference is you believe that society will ALWAYS save you from the bad guy, and tyranny could never happen to your country. You believe that statistics are the best thing, even if you become a statistic it still means they are low... You also seem to think the world is as safe as where you live, no need for anything up there in the cold country so down in the US it must be just like here....

For me I will let society protect me and I'll protect myself and family when society fails me. Countries are taken over all the time by tyrannical Governments so that means one day mine can too be taken over. I never want to be a statistic, and will do EVERYTHING in my power not to be one. The world is not safe, never ever....might look that way but it is not and it takes just one person out of 330 million here to prove that point.
