Another politician got caught with his hand in the Cookie jar. I'm shocked.

While the city of New Orleans is at it's lowest point - the mayor was lining his pockets.

I wonder how far this will go. Who else will be brought down.

(Also, please note at the time of posting - I did a search regarding this story and did not find one on the ATS search engine.)

Well he did his big China tour. What do you think it was all about.

And just to think China does not infringe on copyrights. Hell they build theme parks about it.

Illegal World of Warcraft theme park in China.

If he is convicted AND actually goes to jail for a significant amount of time my belief in karma will be restored.

Having read the article, the following can be stated:

The first is that this is not surprising that this ex mayor has been found corrupt and is suspect of violating the public trust.

But what should attract the attention of everyone is that he has moved to Texas, and did not stay in New Orleans, or even stay in any of the towns around the area, but moved far away. That is a bad sign, and ultimately the question that the lawyers and the court will have to decide is if he is or is not guilty.

If convicted, he'll be pardoned and given a spot in the WH administration.

We need people of high moral character such as this.

God I am so glad......

Had to listen to him and his BS during Katrina and he insulted many people with his racist slurs about the make up of New Orleans. Not to mention his lack of preparedness prior to Katrina.

Actually, you're not far off the mark.
I wouldn't be surprised if he got a call from the WH......they seem to like these kind of shady people.

Lol I knew knew it the whole time. Politicians here in Louisiana is the epitome of the saying "The Dirty South". There are so many things here that are ass backwards in regards to politics, city infrastructure, education, and old getting along with everyone.

I can go on and on about the social and political correct issues that are happening in Baton Rouge, in which people like Ray Naggin contribute to fuel the issue. Remember during Katrina when he mentioned his "Chocolate City"? Yeah, it's things like that fuel the stupidity here.

I'm going off on a tangent here and digressing, but I'm glad he finally got indicted. Just further proves of how things are with some people.
