You need to find out why he put you on it.... otherwise it might really be doing more harm then good, I would suggest going to your regular doctor, if you don't have one or don't have insurance go to your local ER I know aiting around all day will suck but someone there will be able to find out why he put you on it, or maybe suggest something a little easier on the body.

Okay will do. Might as well get what I pay for through my school insurance.
I'll get a second opinion. So coming from you, this isn't something to mess around with. But the ER is going to be a hefty bill. aghhh. Man and it's Friday, I surely do not want to wait in that ER. But, I guess it will catch me up with reading on school. Damned if I do, Damned I don't.

He put me on it just in case of a possible bacteria infection.

Well, I called the emergency hotline. They said he was right to put me on it. "It's to kill all birds with one stone" that's pretty much how she put it. Gave them all the information. And she said "Don't worry honey. If you get plague, you'll be saved and everyone around you will be sick."
And she said to take my meds and to stop listening to you guys. Oh, and to save my money.

See you on the dark side. You know, when the SHTF.

I'm not sure about the radiation immunity, I've worked around a few different kinds, from commo based and DU.
Radiation of some kind, exists in everything. There is a measurement chart for it some where, don't recall off hand.

However, I have had a few series for inoculations of the anthrax vaccine while active duty, including the first batch. From what I have figured out, I could snort a line of the stuff and be fine.

Not sure though, never tried...

Sorry you had to get the shot. I saw that video about it with that one girl. She was believable. I don't know why people would want to snort things, that just seems weird.

I have to take cipro about three times a year for frequent uti infections I've had since I was a wee child. It's not too bad, sometimes I can get a little tummy ache towards the end of the dose. But other than that I've had no problems. Id rather do the cipro than have a kidney infection, which a great grandmother died from.

Well, I was put on Cipro a number of times for a kidney infection (NOT a UTI) due to a stag horn calculus. I had initially gone to the E-room, where I was officially misdiagnosed. From there, it was periodic visits to a minor emergency clinic, and again repeatedly, misdiagnosed for 6-months. I finally got a young Dr. who saw red flags after doing a UA (found blood in urine & high protein levels) and ordered blood tests. Then, I was referred to a specialist who ordered a CT scan, which revealed the stag horn. By then it was literally a life or death situation. I went septic, after an attempted surgery. Almost didn't survive!

Then last year I had some outpatient laser surgery and put on Keflex. Less than 2-days later I ran a fever of 103, at which time the Dr. put me on Cipro. The very next day I had to be readmitted to the hospital. Two days after that I was diagnosed with C diff and isolated. I was sent home after a week, only to get worse. I could not function and barely able to get out of bed. Had difficulty breathing. When I returned to the Dr. for the 2nd followup, I had gained 25-lbs and had difficulty walking. Another admission. This time they found I had developed a blood clot from being bed-ridden! I'll conclude with, I'm damn lucky to have survived again.....even though the combination of antibiotics were to blame for my woes last year.

I don't know either, I was saying sarcastically. lol

But we have had to snort a virus for vaccination, now it is commonly used for it.

Look it up, it says they use Cipro for Anthrax exposure.

Yeah, it's all in my head.

I'm making the blood up as I go.

My son had to take Cipro a few years ago, he came down with a nasty upper respiratory infection, they gave him the liquid kind of it, and it was disgusting!! He couldn't swallow pills back then, so it had to be liquid. Very think and VERY gritty, my son hated taking it! It did get rid of the infection tho.

yeah, they gave me the pills. Glad it's not the liquid kind. I can't stand drinking nasty stuff like water.. It's just bland. Now the taste of the cipro, that I couldn't tell you.

I assumed it was in the urine when I saw it. I freaked out. Doctor said the urine is fine though and can't explain the blood. It could also be from a hormonal imbalance. But because I was previously placed on an antibiotic and was still taking the antibiotic, that is why he prescribed me Cipro from the what the nurse said last night.

Blood in the urine isn't necessarily always visible to the naked eye. Sometimes it it visible only under a microscope!

Looks like the bleeding has stopped for now. So I guess medicine is working.
I can go back to my ruthless self.

They give it out as an antibiotic. My girlfriend was prescribed some once. During the Anthrax attacks in the early 2000's they had all the politicians on it.

No, it was just there everytime I went to bathroom. It's not time for me to be bleeding right now. And when I kept seeing the blood everytime I went to the bathroom, I started to get concerned. Doctor said it could be numerous things attributing to it.

I have to take my meds for 6 more days...

Bah.. Going insane. I want my chocolate milk and Banana - Strawberry Yogurt.
