Tonight we may, it's not official, might get to see some snow in our area tonight, along with some rain and with some light to medium winds.

I can tell you right now, that as soon as it starts to snow, I'm going to be throwing some snowballs at my dog. He loves the snow and he loves chasing the snowballs.

My hands are going be freezing because I don't have any gloves.

Weather.com says were suppose to see it tonight. Maybe. Yesterday it said it was going to be sunny all week and when I looked today, now we have a winter storm in effect.. So, will see.

Just awesome if does come. I can't wait.

My camera is ready.

Looks like Friday will melt the snow in a jiffy, so better catch it fast.

Maybe once to never do we ever get any snow in this area.

I can only remember two times of actually seeing it ever since I've been here.

So cool..If it does come.

Woot Woot.

Bah, looking at the map, it looks like the snow might miss us. Looks like we might just get the rain.

I hope not.

The wintery weather has started in East Tennessee.

I've read several reports that Knoxville is getting thundersnow.

Hope you get some snow Manhater!!!

We missed it here in mid-TN....

I waited and watched the radar and talked about it on FB, only to see three flakes blowing in the wind.

Oh well, here is to hoping for snow in the very near future.

Yep....

Same deal as a regular thunderstorm, just the cold front is cold enough for snow.

As bad as I hate to use a weather channel video....

Thunder & lightening!!!!

It's supposed to drop three inches here....

All I can say is, if I wake up and school's in session, I'll be one sad camper.

I actually got to experience that once, back in the Blizzard of '93. The temps had been in the 50's the day before, so when the cold air moved in, pow!

It's very surreal!!

So now I wish you not only snow, but thundersnow!!!!

When we stay in Pigeon Forge our cabin sits pretty high up on the mountain. I LOVE seeing the mountains covered with snow! Especially when I am seeing it while sitting in a steaming hot tub. So beautiful.

I'll be headed up that way on Saturday for a kid's birthday party.

I love Sevierville, that's where my daddy's from. Even got one of those typical Sevier County surnames.

Yes that's real. Back in 92 or 93 I lived in Chattanooga at the time and we had a huge snow fall with thunder and lightning. Sounds strange but true, very rare though.

Well now, I'm definitely going to have my camera ready for the THUNDER SNOW. Starting to remind me of the Thundercats.
