'Muslim Patrol' vigilantes remove alcohol & tell women to cover up in London suburb, page

British Police are currently investigating reports that an Islamic gang has been confronting passing Londoners in the street, demanding that they give up alcohol and that women cover their flesh in their 'Muslim area'.

A video originally posted on Youtube but now removed shows young Muslim males patrolling the Muslim dominated area ordering British people to hand over alcohol and ordering British women to move away and stop exposing themselves outside a Mosque.

One woman takes offence at their requests and states that they are in Great Britain at which they reply 'not so great now' and that 'they don't respect those who disobey God'. The men are filmed shouting 'this is a Muslim area' towards white Britons they have harassed and stating that white women are 'naked animals with no self respect'.

Mohammed Shafiq of the Muslim Ramadhan Foundation has condemned the vigilantes behaviour.

The Muslim population of the UK is currently about 5%.

I'm not British, but this vexes me. I'm quite vexed. Migrating to another country and then telling the natives what to do and how to live? Not kosher.

That's what the Koran tells Muslims to do. That's what Muhammad himself did. It isn't surprising.

To be fair though, many, many Muslims don't take their religion very seriously. Some do however.

Oh so many inferences can be made for your statement for various countries coming into other sovereign states and saying the exact same thing, lol. The US comes to mind or the west for that matter, lol.

If you feel it is wrong for the USA to tell other sovereign states what to do, then by your own inference, it is wrong for Muslim vigilantes to tell British people what to do in the UK.

You can't have it both ways.

The most shocking thing about this is that people handed over their booze, I would have laughed at them and told them where to go. If they want Sharia law they should move to a country that has it but then they wouldn't get the benefits they get here.

What I find most offensive are scantily clad fat women. If they really want to provide a service to society, this is the group that they should be targeting.

I would love to see what would happen if we took to the streets and told them we don't take kindly to folks who don't take kindly to our own kind. The muslims would scream RACISM!!
No point in the EDL turning up either. The police would be straight on their case and would ignore the extremists.

I honestly don't know how to combat this problem apart from deporting ALL muslims but that wouldn't be right. The extremist muslims must go, the peaceful muslims would thank us too i'm sure.

I don't have a problem with what religion someone chooses to follow, that's cool with me but don't take to the streets and tell people what you should and shouldn't do. That's crossing the line.

Thats the problem. You wouldn't have a choice. Give them your booze or give them your life. These muslim extremists are a violent bunch. England is getting worse with the muslims sharia law BS!

I can agree (sadly) with one thing they said though...and that is Great Britain aint so great anymore...

There will always be the Extremists of any religion doing irrational behavior at some places...It doesn't mean the whole members of that effected faith are all the same.There is a lot of pain rooted in Muslims, specially the ones who reside in Europe,and it is not that unlikely to see some reactions from them every once in a while,since they blame a big part of that pain on EU and the west in general...Only kindness and respect will heal the wounds and prevents possible up coming conflicts.

The police should track down and investigate who these 'islamic vigilantes' are, and then deport them back to their home country, or if they are british citizens whom have converted to Islam, be counselled by both the immigration dept on laws of a soveriegn country and by a muslim cleric on what Islam truly meant and is.

Islam, the religion of peace, under the tutelage of prophet Muhammad, had NEVER sought to impose his own will upon his fellow muslims and children of the book, but by his self example, role model and its success to convince others to change their ways.

A muslim neighbourhood outside Arabia is NOT the soveriegn terroritory of Islam, but a piece of land granted by the ruler of the host nation to allow the dominion of homes, BUT subjected to the laws of the host nation.

Is UK a shariah state? NO. It is a secular state built upon protestant christian principles.

The muslim have free worship, BUT only in private space, and NOT in secular space. If anyone is not happy, the airport is open 24/7 for emigration.

May muslims take this post in the right spirit. It is not outward forms that counts in Islam. It is the heart, and only from the heart that true islam can be practised to become role models for the rest of society. Islamic radicalism such as what the vigilantes are doing had only harmed the true message of Islam.

May these vigilantes seek for forgiveness and atonement for what they had done, as well as to hold their clerics who taught or implied such vigilantism be accountanble and equally seek for atonement and change their ways, or take the next flight out.

I know many Muslims and find them normal people. Some of them I like very much.

Of course I would have a choice I'm from the North East, you don't touch my booze unless you're drinking with me and if I want to show off my body that's my business. We know where it will end if we don't stand up to people like that.
