Well first, you are arguing semantics.
You aren't part of your government, you elect people to positions to work on your behalf, THEY are the government.
with a country of 100 people, sure, you can all have an equal say, last time I checked, America has a few more people than that. As such, they
invented a way for people to create a petition and if enough people sign it, they will directly address it.
What exactly is your problem with that? "If it fits their agenda?" They responded to the damn petition to build a death star. How exactly does that
fit into their agenda?
sure, it's a meaningless little waste of time, but it's hardly a constitution shredding situation.
So as I see it, you have two choices of how this can work.
1) a system just like this
2) never having a voice as EVERYONE has a voice and is shouting at the same time.
Think about it.
Your Voice in our Government, when it should read "Our voice in your government"
No, it reads exactly how it should, you are a citizen, not a member of the government, you are contacting the government to have them address your
It should read "Your" for the exact reason I specified, it's YOUR voice.
It should read OUR government, because while being members of the government, they are also citizens.
Plenty of stuff to be mad about without making crap up dood
