You got to hand it to the BATFE for being "johnny on the spot" and getting to Sandy Hook in time to escort children and parents off of the school grounds.

How do you know they are being escorted off the school grounds? That could be a photo from where the parents were picking up their kids at the fire hall.

If it follows historical trends, the State Police will give a comprehensive report on what they have found in the investigation to the Governor and the State Legislature. That report will then be printed (summarized) in the Hartford Courant the next morning and online on their site.

Also, at the same time, the State Police will most likely give their final press conference on the issue, and try to answer any questions people in the state have about what they are reading.

This Mid-March release follows their normal procedure of releasing a detailed report approx. 90 days after a major incident.

So all is well so far, they are on schedule and it looks like they will be making a final statement on it.

MSM should be held legally accountable for misinformation to an extent. They are making money off of it, hand over fist.

When this gets released will it finally lay all questions about what happened on 12/14/2012 to rest? I hope so.

I'll be waiting patiently...

The MSM is responsible for the questions that people have about what transpired.

It also did not help that certain "witnesses" changed their story so many times. I can't wait for this report.

www.boston.com< br /> (visit the link for the full news article)

I doubt it, a major problem is these "reporters" in all media try to beat each other with who can get the big news out the fastest and alot of times don't check the facts or sources. I haven't seen anything about witnesses changing their story but doesn't surprise me.

All media should be held accountable for misinformation but sadly it doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon but the best thing we can do for now is be very vocal and hope to inform other readers on media mistakes..

until investigations include the public...they can keep their private findings...

IMO conspiracy theorists are not interested in "quality reports" - they are only interested in reports that confirm their wild imaginations.

yeah pretty much sums it up :

a distressing number of conspiracists read govt reports and if it says what they want to hear its :

" govt admits " or " disclosure finally "

but if its not what they want its :

" cover up "

go figure

I will believe this report more then any of the media reports. Maybe we can all find out more of what really happened. I trust the local police, i know that makes me an outcast here.

Why does the mainstream focus so much on this? I swear it's our cultures obsession with deatH! Just accept that it happened and moved on. More people already died today from car accidents. If we dwell on it it will just enter some other crazy persons mind and happen again.

At a recent presentation regarding how the school district should handle a school shooting incident, the following advice was given:

www.cantonrep.com...

"To prevent the spreading of inaccurate rumors or information, don’t allow teachers or school staff to speak with the media about the incident. However, the administrators have to give media timely, accurate information on a regular basis, or reporters are going to interview everyone else in the area and the information they get may not be accurate. Have someone monitor social media to knock down rumors. “It’s important to take control of the media and tell them what you want to have happened,” said Bergant, who referred to the inaccurate reports of the Newtown shooting last month. “We set the agenda for the media and that helped them back off a little bit and show some respect.” "

In other words, muzzle the witnesses and tell lies. Or, to put it more bluntly, keep the people in the dark and feed them s___.

Thanks for this information! Sadly, I am losing a lot of "friends" over my questioning the shooting. The media is effectively painting conspiracy theorists as mentally ill gun nuts and I'm outraged over it. It's absurd to be attacked over this. I certainly blame the media for the entire thing.

Well there are a few reasons msn is talking it about it like it's a huge event, it looks like it's going to change the gun rights in america, i'm pretty sure it's the 2nd most deadly shooting in america, and the biggest reason being it makes them money. To be honest i'm still extremely confused about certain details of that tragic day.

I think for that to occur all media would need to be publicly owned and commercial free. We have the CBC here in Canada which is not commercial free but it is in my opinion the fairest and hardest hitting news station. Our Prime Minister was so ticked off after an interview with Peter Mansbridge, he cut their budget with some cock and ball excuse about having an unfair advantage against privately owned media.
