The Second is what Makes the other nine possible

Public pressure, campaigning, advocacy, voting, the media and money- these are the things that control our society. It has absolutely nothing to do with guns. Guns have never accomplished anything in modern American history.

Even when gun losers tried to stop Obamacare by intimidating officials with guns it still got passed.

Gun owners are deluded.

Go back a few pages and read the quote from George Washington. Then read the Federalist Papers. The reason out founding fathers gave us the 2nd was to protect us from a tyrannical government. Call crazy, but IMHO the founding fathers know more about why they gave us that particular liberty than you appear to.

Charlton Heston called our founding fathers Giants.

I agree with him.

Name one current in office Politician that can match wits with the likes of Jefferson, Washington. Even Thomas Paine.....

There is no one.

Of course not. At that period of time, 8th grade Arithmetic books were much harder than any college textbook we have today and those children didn't have calculators. I have an Arithmetic textbook from the 18th century.

And because people are less educated, they are less enlightened with how these great men were thinking, and how they founded our Republic.

Just my 2 cents.

You know, if people would take the 2nd amendment seriously, it might make the whole gun debate unnecessary. A well regulated militia, not jerkoffs with guns. Start working on the application of ALL of the second amendment, not just the part where you get to play with gunz.

You should check the USSC ruling on that:

In 2008 and 2010, the Supreme Court issued two landmark decisions officially establishing this interpretation. In District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm, unconnected to service in a militia and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home within many longstanding prohibitions and restrictions on firearms possession listed by the Court as being consistent with the Second Amendment.

Oddly enough you are completely wrong.
