FWIW, There are plenty of scholars who claim deep spiritual ties.......There are even subjects devoted to such at Universities.

Maybe you should consider getting an education firstly and then pass judgement as to whether it removed your ability to philosophize spiritually.


I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying that secular knowledge alone is not enough to help someone through mental/emotion suffering, thus it is meaningless to help someone. Secular knowledge with knowledge of the self can go a long way in helping people.

and so if those highly educated examples devoted that time, energy and finances to spiritual endeavors instead of "the system" would they be saving the world instead of themselves?
