Social justice is the only thing that will really stop the fighting by rebels all over the planet...and this is highly unlikely soon.....

I understood that the UN was looking for about three thousand soldiers from various countries. If Canada only sends a portion of that, how does Canada or Harper get glorified? I can see a little appreciation for helping out, but glory?

To bolster hegemony means that hegemony has to be there in the first place. I didn't think the west had predominant control or influence over Africa. China is influential, so is Al-Qaeda. Is the west really running the show in Africa?

We haven't done very well in making any kind of work, short or otherwise, of the Islamist forces anywhere. Why here? And if the French can do it, I propose putting them in charge of a US Division or two and letting them clean up the entire Middle-east.

Would you tell me, fairly specifically if you can, what "Social Justice" means? It's used all over the world and seems to mean nice things, but it's awfully vague.
