The Pentagon was completed in Northern Virginia just across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., on 15 January 1943 - 70 years ago....close to an
average lifetime ago. Given that all who serve in its halls (which is representative of the military in general) have taken an oath to "support and
defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic" and that all in military service are under a Commander In Chief who seeks to
continue an agenda to weaken the Constitution and especially attack the right to keep and bear arms (2A) and that prominent former high ranking
military men like Gen. Stanley McChrystal have stated that 'assault style' weapons do not belong in the hands of us citizens and that it has been
known for sometime that members of the military have been privately polled as to whether or not they would follow orders to confiscate guns and shoot
to kill those who were not compliant I would ask that all who serve restate their oaths of service either publicly (ie ATS) or privately (much like
renewing one's wedding vows) to the American people and commit once again to the founding principles of this great republic.
