This is a question too many people ask and worry about.

Love will always lead a man to the Truth. As a Christian, I love the souls of all men, and I hope for all of them to find love in God.

It is the right of the soul to love. Do so and you will do well.

... the one with which you choose to be happy with, even if the choice is a no religion... although one should remember to keep that free-will in mind and heart; close to your side... to love thy neighbor and not judge his own choice, lest he judge yours. (constructive criticism and debates and heated argument's aside, of course
otherwise were'd the fun be... just don't kill each other) [it's a hard question with no answer, kinda like life... so let's enjoy it!] I agree, Love is definitely the closest thing to religion to me. hard to remember sometimes
Peace to you and yours

Why do I have to be anything other than human to love my fellow humans? I pity people who feel they need to have a label attached to them, otherwise they will lose their identity.

There is no right religion - there are just religions.

They are systems, which gives people a framework for how to live their lives, and which creates a consensus on some philosophical question as to minimize disorder in a community. Most religions can, and do, accomplish this.
However, most religions are also terribly outdated, and all of them contain paradoxes and false information, due to the fact that they have been written by multiple authors with different intentions over a long period of time.

I think the sense of community found within many religious organizations is admirable, and maybe even crucial to society. But this can also be generated without the need for an actual religion. Unfortunately this is a slow progress.

I believe in God, but not religion.

I believe in the concept of god, not that its an actual human, but rather parts of everything, everywhere. I'm not sure
I'll stick with the Agnostic stance on this issue.

Can't favor one religon over another as they all were addpted to take control of people, maybe the first founders in the purest form didnt intend for religion to be used for this purpose, but none the less it has been used for control and acheives it greatly.

I don't think you understood this thread. The meaning is to love, as love is the correct cult of the soul.

The point is not to be labeled, but to love not withstanding labels.

Did you even read the thread, or are you just replying to the title?

What is there to read? You posted a link to a Bob Marley song. Don't start cracking on you've said anything profound or unique that needs addressing.

My bad. I did realise who it was by, but just automatically stuck Bob before the Marley bit.

I forgive you, but I mean, you judged my thread by the title and did not even take in the Spirit of it. It does not matter how many words we use, or the elegance to which we use them, but it is the spirit which we put into them.

You have failed to recognize.

is love a religion? I mean doesnt religion have more to it than being based on an emotion blown up out of proportion?

Being raised as a Jehovah's Witness, I was always taught that that was the only true religion. That was one of my big reasons for leaving.. I used to ask myself, 'out of all the religions out there, what are the odds that my family would pick the ONLY right one??'

Love is infinite and cannot be blown out of proportion. Blessed are those who act out of love.

not out of proportion? You are proving what i say right in your 1st statement.
If love is infinite and also unconditional then it simply means that Jesus pbuh is not the only way. And everyone will be treated with love at the end. And if there is a catch then the "love is infinite" is just lip service.
