well it back been -40 to -45 now for the last six day's -50 to -55 with wind chill factor
and the fun part is now I got some sketic line frozen fun fun day ahead.

Yep its been cold here too, but not enough for the parka......Next week they are calling for rain on tues/wed/thurs.... with highs of 8 to 10 C

Oh yeah its winter, I do realize that you are way up there and I hope you get the rain too unless you don't want it or need it.

That makes things icky.

That said, I'm tired of shoveling snow.
It melts. It snows. It melts again. And snows again.

That's Alberta.
At least in Saskatchewan it got cold and dry and stayed that way.
Here, the snow gets heavy.
I'm really glad my jacket isn't heavy too, lol.

A couple more months of this I guess.

I can relate to the "it melts,it snows,it melts etc....that was years gone by though.

One snow fall all of last year and it was only 6 inches or so.
This year we got about 8 inches at Christmas time, and about 2 inches last week and that is it.

We set a record or two with the cold snap last week but it only lasted 3-4 days.
As I mentioned before...... next week is 3 days in the 50's or 11C if you like.
Crazy and then some, I suppose those "Alberta Clippers" are a big factor for you out there?

I'd rather have snow in May, than rain in January.

I wa raised in Vancouver, and then moved to Saskatchewan.
The snow in the prairies, is easier to drive in than pounding rain, with the reflections of lights everywhere at night.
The snow just makes the nights brighter, and when below minus 15C, it's not even as slippery as the wet roads.

Today though, we have an arctic blast of cold. -44 with wind chill this morning. Brrrrr. Too cold.
Then by Friday, it's supposed to warm back up to 0.

Crazy indeed it is........The new media term here in Ontario is "Roller Coaster Weather" I am not joking that is what they have called the weather here and continue to do so without any explanations of why or what is causing this crap.

Right this moment the temp here is 47 F and by midnight it is supposed to be down to about 15F then lower by morning.

I have the garage all opened up trying to dry it out from all the humidity before it all freezes into a big mess here.
I don't think it is going to work.
