Does the US government have a defined goal; that it wants to move towards? Or do they just try to react; to what arises to, pacify outrage over certain events? If they actually; have a goal in mind...I don't know what it is, do you? The past decade plus; the government seems, to be working just on a reactionary basis, instead of a progressive one...we have been forced it seems, to be in a September 11th 2001 rut; and who knows when we will get out.

As a citizen; I honestly feel, It's like being stuck on a broken down bus...for 11 years and counting. All of the progress and understanding; the US gained, with diplomacy, and expansion...all the way through up to the late 90's...just thrown right out the window. The ripples of that action on that day; have spread globally to the point where; most everyone feels the tension and things are just spiraling...unabated.

Eventually, things will get moving...back towards progression and understanding; when it does, it will be none too soon.

Mods if this is better suited elsewhere feel free to move it; thanks.

They are building a foundation for a society capable of handling advanced technology responsibly.

They are also preparing the world for a one world currency and eventually an purely electronic currency.

Do you think this is to set up a one world government; much like the UN or the UN and globalization is the tool to do it with?

i thought that would be implied.

The UN is just the start of a world congress... eventually it will all be done by artificial intelligence.

I know not a lot of people wouldn't just lay down for it; or want that to happen...reading the UN's stance on human rights... www.un.org... the UN it doesn't sound all that sinister; to me. Although; since not everyone feels the same way...perhaps it takes sinister actions to get there?

Article 29c, UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS
These rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.

Yep, everyone has all these great human rights, unless of course, the world government says you don't.

A world government and a world currency are inevitablities.

There are alot of people that fought the teaching of the sun being the center of the solar system too. There we alot of people that fought against slavery and the rights of females.

It would be wise to very closely evaluate what you believe and why.

In My very humble opinion I do agree with much of what many of you have previously stated....
I do think there is a larger "agenda" than even most think as far as one world government/ruler. from much of my understanding I don't think it is the entire government under on "agenda" either? Groups or TPTB have infiltrated and manipulated the very highest positions around the world in order to fulfill a very long waited, well thought "agenda".
I think there will be a one world government, currency, possibly court system, ruler or president, computing and internet censorship/monitoring, and one world surveillance systems.
The possibility of an artificial intelligence making decisions for humanity is a very interesting concept. I could actually see that being a possibility, really just think and A.I. computer network or singular could easily tie all that together very neatly wouldn't it? Just think, they already have "total information awareness" program created and partially operated by D.A.R.P.A. (defense advanced research project agency),
Also petaflop speed computers that do a billion trillion calculations per second.... Amazing Speed! Not to mention quantum computers I mention these newer computers because, in my humble opinion these technologies would be sufficient to create a newer A.I. technology? Maybe?
Interesting concepts?
I do not present my info as complete facts, only as partial fact combined with educated opinion and questions.

I'm all for a One World.

A one world government, not so much. We will never advance as a species until we All realize that we are in this together. When something good happens to one of us it happens to all of us. When something bad happens to one of us it happens to all of us.

Willfully hurting another is really hurting yourself. There is no need to 'try to get ahead' so to speak. In this day and age scarcity is an artificial construct. With the technology we have invented one man can till, seed, and harvest hundreds of acres on his own; there is no reason that any of us should ever go hungry.

Cheers my friends!

edit to add: More to your question, back in '99 when i was taking one of my first history classes at UGA the professor put the question to the class: "what has been the dominant theme of the US government since WWII?" My answer, which perturbed him a bit: expansion. Expansion into international affairs, expansion into public affairs, expansion into personal affairs.

As Wertdagf stated above, i think they are slowly getting us used to a one world government that reaches into every facet of our lives. Frog in boiling water and all.

I think they have a master plan, but there's been quite a few road bumps in the pursuit of it.

The government shouldn't have an ultimate goal. It's role is to... govern. Not to plot things out.

As far as a one world government goes, horrible idea. I like the option of being able to live in a country that suits me. Currently I like the USA. If the world was all one big nation and I didn't like the laws, or whoever the dictator was, tough luck, I'm screwed. Unless I build a spaceship and live on another planet.

And yes, wars and things like that suck. But let's say that it does happen; the world does convert over to a one-world government new world order. Does that mean everyone is going to get along and not fight or have wars? Probably not. You think race-relations in the melting pot capital of the world (USA) are bad? Now multiply that by a thousand. Simply put, people of different races, religions, languages, etc, etc are not all going to get along. We would still have wars, just it wouldn't be nation vs. nation, it would be religion vs. religion.

But one thing you CAN count on. If there was a one-world government, and it made a really bad choice at something (i.e. let's say they make it mandatory that all citizens take a medicine/vaccine, which turns out to kill everyone), the repercussions of it's bad choice would affect everyone, the entire world. At least now, when a country's government makes a bad choice, it's effects are pretty localized.

I personally think the US goverment is engaged in a concerted effort to devalue the dollar and wreck our entire economy. I think Barak Obama is a Muslim and that he is helping to enforce agenda 21 on the american people and undermine the entire American way of life. I think he wants to disarm the American people and make it easier to force a new paradigm on us that would reduce the standard of living for us here in the US to third world status.

I don't think they will stop until the whole country is like Detroit. I think the average American public has been dumbed down until all they do is digest the big networks misleading newsfeeds until they are completely misguided from the real issues that effect us all. I think this entire 2nd amendment struggle is sleight of hand to distractus from the fall of the US dollar and our losing of the reserve currency and our status in the world arena.

We are currently being vilified by the people running this country in the face of the entire rest of the world. People who believe in the US constitution are being portrayed as terrorists, and if you have half a brain and are paying attention and preparing for the fall they are manufacturing for us, you are also being made to look like a crackpot clinging to his guns and bible.

Our entire ruling class is criminal and treasonous and has been working together against the average American who is just trying to pay their bills and their taxes, while they (The goverment) misappropriates them for their own use and betterment and directs the funds to BS bailouts and porkbarrel spending while Obama says we have no spending problem, we have a taxation problem.

The senate, the house, the US supreme court and the office of the president should be held for treason against The people of the US of America. The federal reserve should be in prison with the rest of them.

Honor is a gift a man gives himself someone once said, and we did not inherit this earth from our ancestors...we are borrowing it from our children. This world is sick right now, and the cure is going to come with some reckoning I think. It scares me to be paying attention to it all while the world thinks that the American people are a party to the crimes. I tell you that we do not agree, no sir we do not, at least the ones who look deeper than the 6 oclock news for our information.

People get along by in large, when was the last time you were walking down the street and got into fisticuffs because you disagreed with someone? Large groups of people (i.e. countries) don't get along because it is in the best interest of their leaders that they do not. I harbor no ill will towards anyone in iraq or iran, they have never done a thing to me nor i them.

What are your options now? From your avatar i take it you are a fan of freedom. As the US becomes less and less free where will you be moving to? Off the top of my head there is only a very short list of options and most of those i think are due only to their size: New Zealand maybe?

Again, the progress we need will come from all of us; thinking of ourselves as one and acting it out on an individual basis.

Just out of curiosity, do you think it would be good for the human kind to have a one world goverment, one to make the rules for all of us?

I think part of the problem we all face today is assuming the Government does have an ultimate plan or goal..or that simply one version of 'TPTB' exist in the world.

On the lower level, Government seems as self absorbed and working just as cross purpose as it's always done to screw each other up. From state to defense to intelligence and into domestic agencies social and law, they're all working their own agendas which may just happen to go in the same direction or may not.

On the global level? Well, The American/British 'Kings' of finance and industry don't seem to particularly impress the Chinese ones and neither leaves much impression on the Arab equivalent who seem to have different priorities all together again. I think the dawning realization is more disturbing than the idea of some over-riding plan. There isn't one, and no single power working to see ANY controlled or intended outcome.

I suppose for clarity is this an actual stated goal? I have no idea what goal the US has planned or were it wants to end up; there are people from other countries here, do you know the goal of your country? Sure logically; we could look at a one world government/currency as an eventual inevitability. If we don't all die from them trying to get there; or sacrificed in the name of a greater good...but have any of them ever actually stated this is the actual intended goal?

I have not studied this topic; I have read a few things, here or there on the topic...and started this thread as a desire for insight; into it from members that obviously, have studied or know the topic better than myself.

So do you think the goal of that; is to loot this country from the inside out, leave it for dead; then off to the next one?

I truly believe that our country (Denmark) is selling its supremacy to the EU, they have tricked us on multiple times to give supremacy to the EU, on our banks and courtrooms. Our prime minister went to election on being a socialist, but she clearly just do the same as the last prime minister did, for the past 10 years. Also she have been an attendant at the Bilderberg meeting to years prior to getting elected as the Danish prime minister

I agree unfortunately, people have ideals that step on others ideals...then there's others like myself saying stop complicating my life with your ideals, I'm just trying to live the best I can with what I have. Can I go to a river and catch just one single fish and then release? Not with out the red tape of a permit...there are somethings in life that need to be free of governments touch. I suppose trying to pervade every area; of life and somehow tax it, profit off of it, or ban it...is causing me to be very disillusioned with any politics in general.

I see everyone on this planet as my family; being divided by governments and their petty squabbles of ideology bothers me.

I suppose one world government doesn't bother me...because I don't want to be boxed in by imaginary lines in the dirt...or fear getting kidnapped and beheaded...Just because of governments and narrow mindedness. I want to be able to go visit or live somewhere, experience their culture and learn new perspectives, from the local inhabitants...but because; I was born here in the US, I'm an American instead of a human. So just because of that; I am automatically at fault for, any and all bad this country has ever done or created.
