check the stove.

they love to build their little nests in the insulation inside the stove.

you have to find the nest.

if you caught 5, there is probably 20 more.
they breed exponentially.

place the traps along the walls, and next to, and behind the stove and refrigerator.
mice are blind and use the walls to navigate for safety.

bacon grease on the traps works great...

we had a mouse problem in our garage but after awhile it ate to much of the donair wrappers and pizza crusts that my brother and his freinds dropped there and that took care of it, but than the flies became a problem so this probably not what id reccomend. you can get live capture traps that may work better

Thanks for the info,but I got a bunch of those sticky traps someone mentioned,caught one mouse and haven't seen another in two days.
The wife is threatening the dogs that they will be going to the kennel in exchange for a cat if she see's another one.
It's not the dog's fault they sleep while mice climb all over them.
It's mine for not training them properly to be mousers.

you need a rat terrier, they were bred for that purpose. though my cats are good at catching them to

Yup mouse problem here in nc, snagged 3 of them in my house, and a fourth one today, I'm glad I'm moving n 2 weeks
