Just an FYI Woody, I'm pretty sure the city of Aurora for this story is in Indiana. The shooting happened in Colorado. The radio station that posted the video is out of Lawrenceburg Indiana, of which Aurora is next too. (I know you are in England, so I hope that helps!)

Thanks for that OiO ... As a Brit I confess to being pretty ignorant when it comes to US geography ... it was just when I saw the name Aurora it gave me a bit of a start

First off, welcome to ATS, partsgirl...I think you'll enjoy this site. I'm also happy that it was this thread which introduced you here (Maybe the fates...and possibly even your Claire have worked a little magic toward reuniting Claire with her sister after all these years). Stranger things have happened.

There are still a couple of days left until the close of the auction for Snow Princess...and whomsoever ends up with her will definitely have something as mysterious as she is lovely.

If the two ladies should ultimately end up together again under your care, I would hope we can count on some very interesting reports from you on any paranormal activity which may occur as a result of their reuniting.

I know that, at present, there are at least 9 or 10 other bidders currently interested in the Snow Princess...and, if this auction goes as many others from this auction house have, we can expect to see more bidders coming in towards the last hours on Thursday evening.

Good Luck to you, partsgirl...and, again, it's nice to see you as a new member on ATS...don't be a stranger here...regardless of what ultimately happens in the auction.

As co-founder of team that investigated "Claire" in 2009, I, too, would be very interested to see what would happen if the two dolls are together once again. The investigation of Claire was very unique in that she does have quite a personality of her own. It was readily apparent that she likes to be the center of attention, is VERY opinionated and not above creating some mischief to get her own way. What the owner said about the "heartbeat" in the video was on a tri-field meter. It kept beating the whole time it was placed next to her. We secured a K-II meter into the sash of her dress and got direct responses to questions. Other types of equipment were utilized including many IR cams from different angles to capture things happening. Due to the sensitivity of some of the information received that night, I am not going to go into details out of respect to the current owner and the former owners.

The current owner's cat was deathly afraid of her and would not even be in the same room with her. When we carried the cat into the same room, the hair on her back went up, there was a loud screech and she flew out of the room. Later on, when asking Claire if she thought it was fun to terrorize the cat. She indicated that yes, it was great fun and she enjoyed doing it. I explained to her that the cat lived there before she did and it wasn't nice to be so mean to her and how would she like it if she was treated the same. After chatting a little more, I asked if she would be willing to call to the cat to apologize and start getting along with her. To the amazement of everyone present, the cat appeared at the top of the stairway and came down a few steps rather hesitantly. She just stood there a few seconds looking at Claire, then came the rest of the way down the stairs and walked over to Claire and laid at the foot of her dress.

Our conclusion from the evidence collected was that Claire is not just one energy but a collection of several energies rolled together. Almost as if having multiple personalities. I cannot advise anyone to buy or not buy the Snow Princess. I can almost guarantee that whoever ends up with her will experience some things that they may not be ready for. The current owner of Claire has been able to deal successfully with her once it was understood where the owner was coming from and the rules that Claire was expected to adhere to to remain in her home.

IF Claire's owner manages to win SP in the current auction...do you have plans to conduct a new investigation of the two together?

Up until this point...especially after hearing that Claire's owner just joined ATS and is interested in winning Snow Princess at auction...many have assumed that these two paranormal dolls would actually WANT to be together...but isn't it just as possible that the two may NOT wish to be together and won't get along? Given their strong personalities...couldn't BAD consequences for the owner of both result if the two are NOT compatible, yet together?
Remember the extreme misfortune and tragedy experienced by the LAST owners of BOTH dolls.

Interesting thought! What if putting them together sparked jealousy! One is missing her leg after all Kidding aside this is my favorite thread on ATS in a while! I'm seriously so taken with these dolls.

It would definitely be a discussion I'd like to have with her. It would be quite interesting to find out how closely the two are connected (if at all), or if they dislike each other. We were never able to find out if the two had ever been on display at the Beverly Hills Supper Club. We were able to track down a former employee that worked there for many years. Claire's owner called him, but he was unable to recall anything like that being there, but it had been so many years ago that he wasn't totally sure.

Anyone wishing to know more about the connection of the dolls to the Schilling Family and the Beverly Hills Supper club might want to read "Inside the Beverly Hills Supper Club Fire" by Ron Elliott to learn more of the history before the supper club came into existence. Could these dolls have been around as part of the gambling, corruption and organized crime? Maybe. We like to research history AFTER our investigations so that we don't have any ideas planted in our minds before an investigation. This also gives us validation of our findings. We definitely feel that Claire was witness to some unsavory dealings at some point in time. Could these dolls be holding anger and resentment about the tragedy of the fire and the number of people that died in the fire? Possibly.

I know that if given the opportunity to investigate Claire again and/or her "sister", we have a whole lot more questions that we'd like to pursue.

I think it is absolutely amazing that all these people connected to the other doll has found this thread, yet no one connected with SP has. Odd huh?

I don't think they would get competitive as long as they were both located in a place were they are on display rather than in a basement or a dark corner somewhere. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if there was a male doll or dolls out there somewhere that went along with these two at some point in time.

It's not really all that amazing that people connected to Claire found this thread. I grew up in Aurora and a friend contacted me about the auction knowing that we had investigated Claire to see if we might be interested in the Snow Princess. After looking at the auction site, I googled Snow Princess and many references were sited to this thread.

The other person connected to Claire that is here is the owner and IMTAT contacted her.
