That is partly my blame, due to have had incorrect info. RATS access has changed a few times, and after awhile, like a decade, it all blends together.

So, it was my error in not having had the right info.

ATS as a site, is member content driven. It is the members whom actually make this place what it is. Because with out all the ATS'ers running around contributing, it wouldn't exist.

So when people accuse ATS of something, they are actually accusing the membership, including themselves.

Sounds a little odd.... I used to be a member of another site called, um,um, something to do with productions I think, insanity and bs running rampant with no body at the helm with a clue. Now my question, any thread on this site is accessable to anyone, anyone, isp issues? go to another computer, but once a thread is started, it does not end at ATS, good logical threads are discussed and spread throughout the world, and spreads on other formats, if there was a quelling or tracking, tptb could not contain it, even direct it, you see a thread vanish, restart it, there is no conspiracy here, just an exchange of thoughts, ideias, dreams,and constantly moving the boundries of your mind, some may not be able to handle that..... I'm sure all of the cheese is gone, any cookies left???

The amount of threads that get closed ,  disappear , moved does bother me on ATS . I sometimes feel its a very sterile environment and the owners are very pretentious. 
They seem to have this belief they've created an all encompassing conspiracy Internet organism. But really it's like being in a forum concentration camp. 

If it was, good, I have nothing to hide.

It is not the owners.

Believe me, they do not like getting that involved, unless it is serious.

That is why the site has us, the staff, aka mods.

We do all this dirty work.

So, if you want to blame some one, for the disappearing acts, please blame me.

After all that, 95% of the time when a thread gets trashed, it is a duplicate.
That other 5%, is really trash, like troll bait for example, or it is a thread that got so far off topic it derailed fatally.
So on and so forth, figured I would just throw that out thre.
