US government tells computer users to disable Java

Sure, they want you to disable Java, wait for the fix, then enable it again? I mean, does that even make sense? How do you know the virus isn't in the updated version? I tried to use Pogo and it said Java was disabled...but i enabled it manually, and nothing has happened to my computer.

Besides that, you can easily tell when someone has access to your computer and you can always re-install Windows. I wonder, how many people are still using Windows XP???
