Shoulda stuck it in Apples eye and not submitted to them.

I am offended by their practices. It is why i don't buy apple, even though they are obviously superior in every other way in most instance (and the price tag generally reflects that).

Off topic a scoatch...

However I have yet to be able to get this to function in chrome. I installed, twice actually, yet it doesn't show up in the add-on list and going by the instructions it doesn't appear that it's properly installing...any pointers?

Please and thank you in advance.

well...equally off topic....but trying to install an android app in your chrome browser is the least L33T thing that there is.

What is tldr?

tldr stands for "to long didn't read" basically (from what I understand) the app summerizes new articles for quicker reads. Insted of sitting on your phone for ten minutes reading a 10 paragraph article. In lamest terms, it sums it up into a quick read.

I don't yet have the app, but I read about it.

it's actually a lot more than that. over 100 news feeds with the ability to open the full article, if the summary is appealing to you (or not). Plus, you get the ability to find more articles relating to the one you're reading, the ability to get small, medium or large size summaries and, rumor has it, in future versions, the ability to customize the feeds and search the web using the same technology that powers the app.

LoL

Fair call...normally I would fallback on the #1 l33t excuse and blame my short comings on lag...but I am afraid it won't fly in this case.

I had a thought...if this would have panned out as a PC browser add-on that is and although it would have most likely been daunting, I was curious what the summary would be if one were to summarize every thread in every forum on ATS using this little gadget. Quite a venture but I would be curious of the result.

Is anyone else using a windows phone having a problem with the ad for this thing?

Any time I touch the area between the "home/forums/etc " line to the my "ribbon" line and the whole screen left to right I am taken to the ad page .

I can see the beginning of t and the end of r on the edges of my screen.

Anyone else having this problem?

Glad you saw the humor in that.

"Lag".....if i had a nickel for every time I heard that from my son while playing XBox. "WalMart connection" is the new insult.

This app is incompatible with your Rogers Wireless Sony Ericsson SO-01C.

REQUIRES ANDROID:
4.0.3 and up

Why does such a simple app need a 4.x android version?

Im still on 2.3.3... I haven't updated my phone in like a year, guess its time to visit XDA again and upgrade to jelly bean

I like to summerise my own news articles. I do not know how effective this app is but I just can't see much of a demand for it. Nice try, but sorry guys its not for me.
