Three Kurdish female activists shot dead in Paris

Three Kurdish female activists -- including one of the founders of outlawed militant group the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) -- were found dead with gunshot wounds to the head inside a Kurdish institute in Paris early Thursday, in what France’s Interior Minister Manuel Valls has called a “political assassination”.

The bodies of the women were found shortly before 2am local time at a Kurdish information centre, located in the popular tenth district of the French capital near the bustling Gare du Nord train station.

This is shocking to say the least. I am not that well informed about the activities of the PKK, although it would stand to reason that these woman were killed for their association with the group.

An execution style killing is never without some darker motivation than murdering an opponent.

If anyone is familiar with this group or this story please inform us as it is this will be skewed by the MSM. I doubt a political assassination in the heart of Paris will be honestly portrayed and examined.

Since they were activists, they probably started thinking...which is a big NO NO for women of their background.

Let me guess, some angry male religious zealot ended their lives because they were a disgrace to their faith. They probably didn't wear the protective face wear....which is an immediate reason for capital punishment.

Kurds are not Islamic fundamentalist and they PKK has a partly socialist agenda. Go read more.

Who knows who is behind it. There are elements on both sides that do not want peace; possibly, and this is a curve ball, it could be the Syrians to destabilize parts of Turkey.

It does not bode well. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail, to use a cliche.

I did before posting.

As far as I'm informed, their religion has some Islamic roots. Are they fundementalists? I don't know. They are classified as a terrorist group in many European countries? Why? I know many Muslims that are not fundementalists by a standead definition, yet a woman will always be a second class citizen in Islam. At least in countries where Islam is a dominant religion. Name me one Islamic country that treats women as equals?

My point is...I wouldn't be surprised if this was religiously motivated.

Good riddance and I am not shocked at all.

PKK is a well known terrorist organization created and supported by the Israel for destabilizing the region only, pretty much like damned MKO, Pejak, Kumele , FSA etc. traitors and terrorists.

Those dogs deserves nothing but death in a worst possible way.

Kurds suffered for a long time, both from Muslims around them and other foreign invaders.

Its kinda f like Palestinian people, but much worse... all this happened before internet or instant news were around.
