Well, if your going to go there, then I suggest on site acquisition and improvisation.

That should be enough for any one to get started.

Ok, Lets talk some Truth then.

If there was some sort of a Civil Uprising .

Those Opposed to the Government would be Deemed "Domestic Terrorist"

The American Populace has been Conditioned to view "terrorist" as "Kill at any Cost".

No body in the US had any problems when the "terrorist" were across the Ocean , in Countries most couldn't locate on a map, and killed by any means neccessary.

Guess what, that Conditioning has come Full Circle, and will be used to Cleanse the US of Domestic terrorist.

Domestic Terrorist, Rebels or Freedom Fighters, whatever the Label, will be Crushed.

If you look at the reports, they have already labeled them. Just do a search for returning veterans and homegrown violent extremists.

It is a shame really, that the government has already labeled those they wish to target. Usually a threat emerges before it is given such.

These are an interesting time in which we live.

Justa little off topic

We were with a group of our friends the other evening. Friends of all ideologies and sorts... and were talking about recent events and the state of the US and world in general. Most of us agreed we felt in a way honored that this happens in our lifetime. That we are living true history and have the opportunity to use what we have to offer to really effect something in our country. A legacy of sorts.. and to hopefully save our children/grandchildren ( since we are all old farts) of having to do it in our place. You know, not only with the firearm issue, but the state of our country that has certainly lost its luster. Those that we know who are non gun owners and really tend toward regulation dont love their children and grandchildren any less than the rest of us. One thing we all have in common is a huge dissatisfaction in our country throughout the several presidencies and actions we have been alive to witness. If people were generally satisfied with our country, Obama would not have ran such a successful campaign which centered on "change".
It was a huge blow to many of us when we "awoke" and saw even a fraction of the truth of the matter... sometimes it was terrifying considering what we sat by and allowed knowing now that ignorance is and was no excuse.

I believe and know this with complete conviction Advisor, there are many more of "us" than "them". Most simply arent vocal if you know what I mean. We are all over and in many different things.. our careers are so various and in many places that some would not consider. It would be a simpleton's way to assume that because what has been posted here or there that Americans will go cry in a corner or have lost heart as a nation. The media or a message board is a poor means to gather an opinion concerning a people or their capabilities as whole. For some, maybe it is their hope that we will fail and suffer, or a way to project their anxiety concerning their own dismal futures in their own countries. Misery does love company. However, many are patient, watching, considering, and out of a true love for peace and our country.. wait and remain vigilant working where we can and how we can without waving a "lookie at me what I did" neon sign on our foreheads. The time for protests ( in areas we are given permission to have them in anyway
) is long past... and action has already been taken and will continue to be. People here keep speaking of "action" as if it is something to be taken at some point in the future concerning some vague line that is to be drawn in the sand. Most recently its been the gun issue. In reality, the line wasnt vague, it already was drawn, and action has never stopped being taken. Things have a method and an operation. It is the child and the truly ignorant that believe that the genesis of change has to come with a loud bang and is instantaneous. Historically speaking, thats usually the way it ends..

excellent OP.

You are correct by the way. We need to go to the next peg in the line. Our state constitutions and our state leadership. They should be made aware of the will of their people. They are not unreachable and are not entirely disconnected from their people. DC has not made them rot inside yet.

I say instead of going to other states that do as we intended, we should make our home states do as we intend.

Not flee to the stronghold, but dig in and make our homes one.

In any event I am glad you took the time to write this so eloquently.

Also I smell something else on the horizon. An awaken American people....it is Awesome. Better than our wildest dreams and our enemies worst nightmares.....

Well spoke and good points.

As many may see and very well know, this is not a new trend.
It is how ever escalating and speeding up at a much more rapid pace than histories trends reflect.

It is very important now for solidarity as a nation of inheritors;

Dare I say, have you forgotten...

We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans, born in this century, tempered by war...

In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than mine, will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since this country was founded, each generation of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its national loyalty. The graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surround the globe.

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you -- ask what you can do for your country.

My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.

President John F. Kennedy - January 20, 1961

It almost shames me, to have to remind my countrymen and woman...

We are badly divided, irrevocably so? I'd like to think not. But problem is they have created an entire class of people who are wholly dependent upon government assistance just to survive. It's hard to care about your rights or whether we're a Republic or not when you have have hungry children looking at you. This was done intentionally and is not the sad by-product of globalization and the de-industrialization of the US.

Those who remain free and independent do care about the principles of freedom and liberty. They will not stand idly by and watch family, friends and neighbors have their homes sacked and firearms confiscated. Fully half the population will not stand for open tyranny.
Now you know why they will not try open gun confiscation first but instead create a bureaucratic nightmare of registration, fines and penalties that require gun owners to be fingerprinted and databased or forced to turn in their guns or face economic annihilation through the IRS.
They may also tie in the right to bear arms with Obamacare and require mental health evaluations for all gun owners. It would be slow but within a few years I think they could make a major dent in the number of guns in civilian hands. Ammo will also become near impossible to come by or they will make it too expensive to acquire.

Both groups must find our common ground which is our Constitution and Republic. Those who are independent will have to help those who need government to get by if we are to create a true majority that can put America back on the road to dignity, honesty and recovery in both economic as well as moral terms. Without principle we will fall back in to the same trap of greed and deceit that has brought us to the brink of downfall in the first place.

We are at a tipping point and we must stick together or be lost to a scientific dictatorship with a technological control grid that cannot be escaped. This is why they want 30,000 drones over American skies, they want a real-life honest-to-God SkyNet just like in the terminator movies. Our money and our lives are hopelessly entangled with technologies that have the power to control and manipulate our lives at every level. Unless we can break that chain we will be overwhelmed and subjugated or destroyed depending upon their discretion.

Either we survive as free people who create our own destinies or we become unwilling cogs in a machine devoid of human feeling and need. We are at the crossroads now.

Moving isn't the solution - it's been the problem. When faced with trouble it's become the American way to move on and find greener pastures. That must stop. We need to stand firm wherever we are claim "enough!". We are the people and we aren't going to supplicate or bend any more. I might be destroyed but I'm damn sure I won't be moved. You cannot engage the enemy without facing them.

In all this talk of civil war, does anyone else find it funny that the new block buster "Lincoln" is coming out? I can't watch t.v. for 20 min. without seeing the trailer.

if you go invade someone's home, of course you'll have civil war.

you don't need legislation to ban guns, you can do it yourself by not buying one.

everybody is blaming inanimate objects for death and murder.

where is personal responsibility.

where is finding out what happened on the school shooting.

where are the examinations and autopsy reports, he may have been on several psychiatric drugs, he could have been tormented or just plain over come with evil and hate, in which case he could have been bent on killing no matter what he had access to.

if he couldn't get a gun, he could have used home made explosives, it could have been worse if he used an oklahoma bombing type rig.

the best prevention is finding out exactly what happened and publishing it all for everyone to see, to be aware and vigilant and try to help someone in that position before he falls.

we failed not by banning guns, by not being there and helping the kid, by basically abandoning him to evil.

then again, you don't have to ban guns, but i'm sure stringent laws on how they are stored in your home and not allowing anyone but the proper owner to use a firearm isn't gun control.

mandatory biometric gun safes for all gun owners is not gun control. even possibly government tax credits to help on the purchase.

hanging on the wall with a box of shells on the floor is not proper gun storage.

Ohhh, to be sure.
It was a rhetorical question.
I feel your pain and I know where you are coming from.

My point was, YOU and I aren't going to be the ones who choose to kick this thing off.
We are just going to have to choose where we stand AFTER it DOES get kicked off.

huh?? you said you start it off, so you know where you stand, you start off with a purpose, cross a line of no return, I sure hope you know where you stand before this type of action... The question is for the people who didn't do the starting? right? just my take, man that's all. kinda through me off..

The only solution is for states to secede. The Federal Governmants National Debt will continue to pull America down. States that secede can protect their people from what the politicians in Washington have done to America.

A new America could be created by seceding states forming a union of patriot states.

Whatever happens I think it`s interesting and gives us some insight into what the people were thinking in the months and years leading up to the last civil war in 1860.
A lot of the things that we are saying and discussing now are probably the same as what they talked about and discussed then.
When the prospect of having the federal government jeopardize their state`s right`s to self determination they were probably asking the same questions that we are asking ourselves now.
They probably wondered if the government would really try to do it or if maybe the government was just bluffing.
They probably asked themselves could this really lead to war?

I think the war kind of caught them all by surprise, they had spent years discussing the situation and then one morning they wake up to find that they are at war. Once the first shot is fired there is no going back, the chance for compromise and discussion is lost.
We certainly do live in interesting times.

I don't know if that's the ONLY solution, but it might be one...But only as long as the full military resources, including nuclear weapons, were divided evenly amongst the states. That's right. So if New York steps out of line, they could be obliterated by tiny Delaware.
That would also have the effect of decentralizing the combined military powers of the states in such a way that it would be a lot tougher to engage in foreign wars for profit and greed.

You're speaking my mind.

The constitution was void since the introductionof the first law . We have been subtly enslaved, and now that this socialist Obama has taken office, the value of freedom and the importance of the constitution is becoming more apparent.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a peaceful solution. The fact is, the right to bear arms being in jeopardy is not a threat to our freedom, as we are already not free, but it is a threat to our ability to resist totalitarianism. Don't let them take your guns.

We need real freedom. The only way we'll have real freedom is if there is no longer a government. And the government won't give power back to the people without a fight.

The only thing is that with today's federal government, the states have no rights to stop the federal government. Take for instance the health care law, Alabama fought to remain out but the Supreme Court ruled against the state and another example was the immigration law that states enacted which was struck down. I truly wish that our government could ask the people what we want and vote accordingly. Instead they vote for what is their best interests and that is the end of it..... I believe that if you are an elected official then you make a salary that goes with the public salary, take the same health care that we do, and when you are no longer an elected official, then you do not get that salary or the security that goes with it... That is where our debt is.....

By who? Gun control nuts with tazers and tear gas? Police and Military, who are mostly gun owners themselves? I'm sorry, but if a fight broke out, I think the side "with" the guns would definately have the advantage, not to mention the tactical training and experience.

Also, I'm sure that the rant by Mr. Yeager sounded very similar to those of the founding fathers before the revolution. He did come out shortly after and back up a step or two. I'm sure there were alot of people who vented in similar ways, he just happened to do it in an open forum......on video.

Listen it will never happen, just look at youtube videos.

I have saw police beat and beat and beat Kids, woman, and old people and people just stand, oh they shout at the police but they dont do anything.

They just watch while someone is constantly hit with a baton of punched in the face, oh they pull their phone out and put it on youtube.

But the people dont do anything.
