Please take the time to read the article as it has an email address giving you the opportunity to tell the Commissioner of this Bioethics program what you think about using children as guinea pigs for experimentation on a vaccine that has ruined the health of many soldiers and its effects are well documented. This is an irresponsible lie. No Marine was ever forced to take the Anthrax shots. It was highly recommended. I know this, because I refused to take it and no one said anything.
What they did say was "it's in congress right now and will eventually be a law, so you might as well do it now".

What I know about the shots:
-kills 1/1000 people that take them
- gives a person an extra 15 minutes to live
- anyone who takes these shots will still die from anthrax. But the 15 extra minutes will basically be able to have time to warn everyone to stay away.
-to me, I think that is the point of these shots. They serve no real purpose

No you are totally wrong - some were forced. I was in an Air Guard Unit deploying to a scary FOB and let me tell you they wanted the jab in us so bad they flew in a expired box full of this vaccine up in an F15. True. We donated blood samples prior to this vaccine - took it under the armed watch of security forces and anyone refusing was walked directly to the JAG. So you are very wrong - some most definately were forced. Lucky for me in my case it was actually documented as well as my severe reaction.

Also true is that many besides me from my former unit suffered disablement as a result. I am 100% Permanant and Total through the VA as a result of this Vaccine. I have paperwork from the Air Force Vaccine Resource Center at Lackland AFB that found my disablement was in fact caused by this vaccine. I suffer from the diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and IBS - or call it "Gulf War Syndrome" if you like. Call it what ever you want - call it living hell.

I served on a committee at one time to try and stop this nonesense. I still have in my possession a few reams of paper on which are printed Vaccine Adverse Reactions - or (VEARS forms) 12 dead or permanently disabled in the first 40 pages alone, each page representing one individual! There is something so wrong with this idea of testing this vaccine on children and it is being considered.

This is a heavy conspiracy forum if you want to dig deep into a heavy topic do some googling about this vaccine, the letters and the deaths or "suicides" that surround it.

I know this issue a bit because it permanantly changed my life . . . and I was indeed forced to take the vaccine - or lose my career. In the end I lost my career anyway to Medical Retirement. But I am amoung the lucky, at least my case was documented and I recieve compensation for my disability. I miss my career though. Like the Marine in the Video I "dont look disabled" but trust me this is for real.

It is a discussion as to whether OR NOT it would be ethical to test on children - many vaccine proponents say there is no point - the chances of an anthrax attack are miniscule, and how would you figure out the results anyway n the absence of actual anthrax?

I was given the Anthrax vaccine while on active duty. It's not just one shot, it's actually a series of six shots over a period of time, a year and a half total i think it was. I actually ended up getting a seventh shot since the sixth shot wasn't documented in my medical record.

This was 12 yrs ago, no ill effects noted then or since.

The chance of exposure to Anthrax is miniscule at best, unless you work around cattle or work in a lab with the stuff. Then you obviously have a bigger chance of exposure. .

Not to mention like the flu, there are different strains of it. So the vaccine is pretty much worthless.

It's a typical knee jerk over reaction and fear mongering to what is basically a non-threat.

To the person who said nowhere is the word "Anthrax" mentioned I imagine that mere word would bring out the opponents in droves.The idiots in the Administration probably recognized this at this workshop an made it non-specific.

The National Biodefense Science Board said Friday a separate review board should look into the ethical issues of doing such tests in children. If that is completed successfully, the panel, said, the Department of Health and Human Services should develop a plan for a study of the vaccine in children.

If I did not make it clear in the opening post the meetings are January 14-15 are think tanks to discuss the bioethics of this issue (with limited capacity for attendance and advance registration required according to the pdf).

To the one who said the woman in the video lied just because you were given an option. I am happy that you were given that option and I hope that is policy now. I talked with an ex-military who told me the punishment he was given for refusing the shot which included time in the brig and being forced to stand up all night in field (I can't remember the length of days he was required to do this). The pressure put on the soldiers to take the shot was well publicized.

To to one who commented that I slapped this post together in a jiffy. Yes, did. It was very late and I was very tired I did the best I could. Let me also say the government really did little PR to promote this meeting so information about it is sparse.

To the one who said "Hoax". I ask you to use some critical thinking skill before you condemn. I would be surprised if you really believe that if you have young children.

I agree it is a waste of time and energy, yet the government is hell-bent to get this program going. For that reason I think people should be aware of their efforts to proceed and tell them not to any way they can.

it's not clear how much time it would take to find money for such research and get clearance from review boards at medical centers that would conduct studies. Another big question is whether parents would sign up their children to test a vaccine when there is no immediate threat. It's not possible to get anthrax from the vaccine, but there are side effects. In adults, shot-site soreness, muscle aches, fatigue and headache are the main ones, and rare but serious allergic reactions have been reported.

Reading them shows the government's intention to trial the vaccine on children.

On the other side 2 debunkers - one, his own link says a trial was proposed, the other didn't read anything past the title.

Here is another Federal Register as if another link would be significant to the mass of proof posted.

It doesn't matter if the end result is for the bioethics panel to stop the trial from proceeding, what the thread is about is to show the intention to trial.

I find it hard to believe, but you were there when they were forcing it, and I wasn't apparently. Personally, I would have chosen the jag. When the doc told me that people die from taking the shots and the death rate for Anthrax is still 100%, I almost told the overseeing SNCO to go F@$k Himself.

They did shift the policy around - for a while they were not allowed to give it to us - FDA said the manufacturer was contaminated - and also they do know about the injuries caused - it seems there is a genetic link to who gets sick and who does not. They also changed the shot schedule so that they did not give other vaccines especially typhoid in the same window. Some didn't recieve it at all. I got devastatingly ill on the third jab.
