...No shootings until gun control debate? What do you think precipitated the gun control debate?

Holy cow.

you misread what i meant.........

And yes we had them, but not on the scale w people just going in and blasting away like weve seen in the last what 6 months, but really 2 months?

Yes there have always been gang violence and the occasional psycho in a college or school once every 3 years or so.......but not like this......

You have to admit its taken a sudden up turn..........

Yes it could be just because its being plastered on the news and probably is............but the other side of me kinda wonders if it couldnt be something else

I wouldn't go that far. Remember all the media coverage Columbine got? I sure do.

How many copy cats within a month back then? This is at least the fifth mass shooting in recent weeks. And a few more attempts come to mind that the MSM refuses to report on because the gun man was mowed down by someone carrying a pistol of their own.

Oh yes, conspiracy is afoot. Make no mistake.

Point proven

How does that even make any sense?

If ever took a holiday to the US I would want to be given a Light Machine Gun at the airport. Every street would be like walking through an army weapon surplus store.

Yep. It's exactly like that everywhere in the US.
And in China, you cannot navigate the streets through all the kids with calculators!
In the UK, it's hard to get around without staring at the poor dental work!
In Canada, everyone is drunk and rides around on Moose.

You don't get out much do you?

Sounds like another copycat propagated by the msm.

This is such a stupid thought process, so if the MSM didn't report any this none of it would have happened? just like computer games cause shootings too huh?

It wast the shooters fault it was the MSM... ridiculous

No dead according to fox.

Also it was a gang related shooting outside of the school and one of the shooter went in the school to hide...

This is NOT a school shooting.

So it is possible that the guns were not purchased legally, and no gun ban would have had an effect.

Yet we have people clamoring for a ban.

What is the REAL agenda here?

Isn't California a strict gun law state?

Aren't schools a "gun free" zone?

I'm sure it will be reported as an AR-15 ASSAULT rifle even if it was a .22 caliber revolver...

Much like Chicago. California is a gun restriction zone, how's that working out?

Hope all those victims are ok.

Thanks to the MSM weeks of Sandy Hook shooting ``porn``, they've created a copy cat.

Who knows how many more they've created...

The MSM are criminal enterprises.

Amazing that you say it's a copy cat - ridiculous to say that at this time. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't but why at this early stage rush in and call it copy cat? The gunman could have been planning this for 5 years, how do we yet know if it's copy cat or not?

It has been PROVEN that media coverage of serial killings CREATES copy cat killings. People seeking Tue same notoriety. I can't see this as being any different.

There needs to be a 48 hour media blackout or something on tragedies like this. It feeds wild speculation. Not only that, we saw from the last tragedy that the media will say anything to get the "scoop" ...whether it is true or just made up bullsh!t. I still think the media should face some kind of charges for the chaos they created last month.

I also agree to a point that reporting on this stuff and giving it huge media attention may actually be a driving force in causing them...if someone is neglected and gets no attention and they see all the attention these heinous acts draws...well....

Yes, they are not allowed to dwell on serial killers for the obvious reasons of generating "copycats"....I think the same mentality is at play here.

Very true video. And tbh, I'm very proud of (and frankly, surprised by) the media for barely mentioning this story (so far). No need to splash it all over the news. What's the point?

It begins again.

I grieve for the deceased, if any, and their families already.

But this is very timely for the political agendas making their moves right now. More media hyper-coverage as part of the agenda to disarm freedom and liberty.

I am not sure what the solution to all these shootings is, but I know that the solution is NOT to further restrict our Constitutional liberties in the name of security.

Peace

The guns aren't the problem.
It's the people shooting the other people that are.

Flame me all you want but that's the truth.
When we address all the violence on tv and in media maybe this sort of thing won't happen.

There are NEVER any problems in "gun free zones" proven fact, we should have more of them all over the place to protect innocent people from danger.

(sarcasm over)

New California Gun Laws 2013

AB 1527 - Long Gun Open Carry Ban

The new gun law prohibits open carry of unloaded long guns, such as rifles and shotguns, in public places. This is a follow-up to last year's AB 144, which prohibited the open carry of unloaded handguns in public places. Read the official text of AB 1527 because there are several other provisions within the new gun law. Law now in effect.

SB 1315 - Imitation Firearms

The new gun law authorizes Los Angeles County to enact and enforce an ordinance that is stricter than state law regarding the manufacture, sale, possession or use of any BB device, toy gun, replica of a firearm or other device that is so substantially similar in coloration and overall appearance to an existing firearm as to lead a reasonable person to perceive that the device is a firearm and that expels a projectile that is no more than 16 millimeters in diameter. Read the official text of SB 1315. Law now in effect.

Senate Bill 1367 - Deer, Archery Season, Concealed Firearms

The new gun law revises the Fish and Game Code authorizes a peace officer, whether active or honorably retired, or a person with a valid license to carry a firearm on his or her person while engaged in the taking of deer with bow and arrow, but prohibits taking or attempting to take deer with that firearm. Read the official text of SB 1367. Law now in effect.
