People of the Commonwealth let us become one!!

Commonwealth or for the common good.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 54 countries that support each other and work together towards shared goals in democracy and development.
Our countries go back a long time and yes many of you will say because you nasty English made us part of your empire but that is the past what Iam here to say is about our future.
I want us (The UK) to get out of the EU and bolster the Commonwealth, we have more in common with the people of the commonwealth than the EU (Europe has always tried to take our Island) and 2.1 billion of us are part of the commonwealth that makes us a mighty big voice in the world.
I'am suggesting that each member nation has an equal say in things to do with our people and we should make our business ties stronger and break down our borders between our nations.
The figure head of the Commonwealth is The Queen but make no mistake she is only a mascot and we can change the figurehead every few years so each of our countries can have their own people on stamps .
Just look at the world map we are spread all over the world and together we can defend our people and help any of our nations get back on the right track.
An equal say for each member, better ties, open borders between our countries all for the Common good of our nations!
Huzzah!
Oh and If you Americans want back in we will think about it (jk)

You forgot to mention in this great democracy.

As long as they are not Catholic.

My Family are British over 500 years can be traced back here, born and bred British I am.

But look at the outroar the other day by the press and church after Prince Charles speech about his fears and not wanting to change century old traditions.
No mater how evil or wron.

Tradition they call it in Britain when the real word is discrimination.

So if i cant have the same rights as others in my country what hope has the commonwealth got when people born here cant get the same rights.

The English mentality is that we have a great country, just like the slave traders thought that their was nothing wrong with the slave trade.
Try asking the the people discriminated against how they feel.

thats not my attitude at all
they have not long come into this country (a racist would say straight from the banana boat)

i am not like that at all...i will not tolerate racist abuse
nor will i tolerate some fat black african calling a white neighbour a racist and screaming her head off
with 3 kids clinging to her nipples and fat git of a husband is upstairs screaming out the window

i will be the first to apologise for the derailment
but sub cats always get involved and need to be heard to understand the fuller picture

Britain, whether you like it or not will be a race hate/love situation for years to come
and you cannot hate people for saying otherwise....attitudes must change is what we are told to swallow by the msn...yeh really

by voting as I do, for UKIP, your dream could be brought closer!

this is a central plank of their policies - leave the EU and trade with our commonwealth again ( the EU membership bans or limits our trade greatly with them at the moment)

I can't really see Australia becoming "one" with the Commonwealth any time soon. There really isn't any reason to be, considering how deep we are with the USA.

Britain could have retained thorough ties with Australia, if it had lived up to its word in WW2. Britain called for our help, and we answered. We fought side by side with Britain all the way, until we were threatened ourselves. Britain had stated that they would help us if need be, but they never lived up to the word. When our call for help was rejected by Britain, we pulled our forces out of Europe and brought them down here to protect our shores from the Japanese threat.

When Britain wasn't there in Australia's time of need, the USA was ( even though they didn't do much ). Ever since then, Australia has enjoyed deeper relations with the USA than Britain.

Still not a bad idea though mate

Hopefully when my plan comes into being ( ) we can all sit down and we will give you the choice again.
You are still a member of the commonwealth and I hope we can continue to work together for a better future
