I'd say 1/4 of the time I copy and paste something from ATS...and only on ATS...when I go to paste the text, I get a massive url that looks something like this:

master.mx-targeting.com...://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/member.php?action%3Dviewpro%26member%contextpeak=0&co ntextcount=0&countrycodein=US&lastAdTime=1098843582|1098497466|1098828508|1098813136|1096830617|0|0|1098845560|0|&lastAdCode=8&cookie1=capdate%3D2622% 26capdatedy%3D1026%26lupgtry%3D1%26lupgid%3D157%26lupgdt%3D1096831067641%26lflshdt%3D1096830617%26lstlogdt%3D20041026%26cntp%3Ddsl%26capcntdy%3D26%26c apcnt%3D3%26&cookie2=rtmr%3D300%26fstcidt%3D1096830617263%26rcntr%3D3%26&cookie3=1;1098845568;3632:23040:5229:31424:4322:2303488:4921:69248:5148:79488 :3867:907776:3916:613120:4916:3968:4728:2

Is anyone else getting this from time to time, and can someone explain it? Perhaps even offer a solution?

Thanks

EDIT: spelling and tried to fix what I thought was broken link in the quote above...

Thanks...ya - I wouldn't be surprised if the computer I'm using here at work has trojans...it has before...I'll certainly check it out again...

But this is also occuring at my home computer, which I take much better care of and I know is not infected...also - I'm not entirely sure why only that top portion of the link in the original post was hyper-linked...the whole thing should be a link...

I dunno...lol - But thanks for the suggestion...

Hmm...so no one else seems to be having this issue, eh?

Just happened again as I was copying and pasting a screen name of another member into a post I was editing...

No comments from an admin yet on this? Sorry...I just thought that maybe it would be worth paying attention to...# like that gets annoying after it happens x amount of times...

Hmm...I dunno why I said it was a problem with OUR ad service, its an Ad service, but its not ATS's.

After a quick Google search, Iv found that it is Spyware, run Spybot, Adaware and if that doesnt solve it, run HijackThis and post your logfile.

I'm glad to know it's not an issue with ATS...I figured copy and paste spyware was a little low-brow for people to mess with, and that maybe there was just some coding error...

At any rate - I ran all three...After running HijackThis last, here's what it came up with...

Alot of Norton # there...

But basically all I can see is this:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Winad Client] C:\Program Files\Winad Client\Winad.exe
O16 - DPF: [56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71] (RdxIE Class) - software-dl.real.com...

If that doesnt work, apparently Giant AntiSpyware is supposed to remove it.

Yeah...You'd think this crap would get filtered through all the programs I try to run on a regular basis...

Thanks! I'm sure that did the trick...like I said, it happens sometimes and doesn't others, so I probably won't find out 100% percent for a bit...I'll get that other software as well...can't hurt I guess...
