I think Alex Jones is awesome. What he said needed to be heard, being that all the GOVT propoganda has been being forced fed to all of us for way to long.
His approach, eh. Doesent matter.
He is the one who opened my eyes many years ago.

On another note, many here are guided by this approach and it is sad only in the way that they allow it to detract the truth. If lies are fed to the sheeple with graciousness then they seem to eat it up. But, if the truth is delivered with zeal, discredit is given. That is sad, the truth is the truth and because someone may not present it like a learned speaker it does not turn the truth into lies.

Non of us, here have the balls enough to do what Alex is doing. He has been willing to risk imprisonment, persecution and other things for the truth and for that I respect him.
Lets see some of you critics here build up what Alex built up. you wont, all you do is come here to ATS, sign in and begin firing off empty rebuttals or half truths or as I have seen complete lies.

We will look back and see, that Mr. Jones was correct and we will kick ourselves because we did not pay heed.
I am doing my part to pay heed. Warning family and friends, with supportive documents and directives in writing by the government.
Ill be watching you all (those who doubt)from a distance, being rounded up and my heart shall be heavy.

"the objective of the plan is that they want to portray Obama as a victim of racist hatred by the white gun owners, the people concerned about the Constitution, the people they consider fringe. They want to silence their critics, prove that talk show hosts are causing hatred, and that all gun owners are behind the recent shootings"

“God, this is just like a movie,” exclaimed CBS anchor Dan Rather as the first of the World Trade Center towers collapsed.

“Only, it’s the real thing.” he says.

"It’s people like you that are a threat to this country. I can only pray that Obama uses those FEMA camps to put you loons away…hopefully he can install some gas chambers and when you face your maker who happens to watch you all the time you can explain to him about your fear of being tracked by a government or how they blew up buildings to go to war to protect your freedom and liberty you so love."

Thanks for that link. Lots of good info in that thread of discussion. It does paint Jones as controlled opposition.

Really? If true, that's pretty insane. Where, if anywhere, is the story or proof of this? It's a pretty serious allegation to make without proof, so there's no way I can believe this in good conscience without some sort of evidence.

I don't follow AJ or any of his affiliated sites, I only know what I've seen from his show and online videos, mostly posted to forums such as this. I've always thought he was a kook with the wrong idea and possibly just a good conscience. If what you're saying is true, it's pretty sickening.

www.austinchronicle.com...

The bad blood between Sotelo and Jones goes back about four years, to a fight that occurred in the ACAC parking lot. Jones' detractors cite the incident as an example of his inability to tell the truth. There are two different versions of the incident -- Jones claims that a group of four thugs, one wielding a knife, accosted him outside the studios and physically attacked him because of his beliefs. Sotelo and others tell another story, saying that Jones challenged a man who was ridiculing him, whom witnesses will only identify as "Steve" or "Mystery S." They claim that Steve accepted Jones' invitation to fight, and then thrashed Jones handily. The account, as related by ACAC producer Max Kane, can be read on a Web page maintained by another producer, Shelly Thumbleson (www.synaesthetic.com/jarhead.html). According to Sotelo and the Web page account, after "Steve" left, Jones told police he had been attacked with a knife. Sotelo refuted this, and says that Jones then spit blood on him in retaliation, for which Sotelo allegedly punched Jones. Jones describes it differently: "The police showed up. They started listening to these people's propaganda. The other people fled. They went and watched the [security] tape, and then they went and wrote the report and then the investigation was pursued on the attackers." Jones said the investigation was never resolved. Both sides claim that security videos at ACAC support their version of the fight, but ACAC said the tape is no longer available. In addition to creating tension between Sotelo and Jones, Thumbleson's Web site alleges the fight exacerbated a feud between Jones and "Steve's" friend, Clayton Counts. Counts is notorious, for lack of a better word, for making prank calls to ACAC call-in shows, especially Jones' show. Counts, who still maintains an Internet account on the server of the now-defunct bookstore Fringeware, said he suspects that Jones then called in the FBI and made bogus claims that Counts was a terrorist and possessed child pornography and got the bureau to raid Fringeware to get Counts' address. According to the Web page, the bureau later dropped the investigation.

I have just finished watching the debate between Morgan and Alex. I am interested to know who you think won the debate. I think Alex went in very hot headed, CNN new he would do this and they tried to give him enough rope to hang himself. I think this approach backfired.

Alex was certainly hot headed but he managed to get fast and furious in. I think he could have done much better had he relaxed and took things a bit more calmly, but I suppose thats just not his way

I give Alex my full respect for his beliefs, its irrelevant if he is a loud mouth, he definately has the moral High ground, sometimes it takes a Very loud mouth to force people to listen. This for me was a win for Infowars, well done guys

Alex is very passionate, and it comes out. Lots of people mistake being passionate for being "unstable", when in fact, Alex was in command of the facts and passionately called it the way it is.

Since Piers Morgan espoused nothing but lies, Alex Jones won the debate. Truth trumps lies.

Morgan kept it professional as he is supposed to why representing mass media social interest. And Jones showed the frustration of the nation he represents. They both handled it how the current emotions are carrying them. So to both the did well
Its going to take their minds and minds like them to find the midpoint before a lot of people get upset and begin to rebel and take many they love into a trap those cages/camps

I never had an opinion of Alex Jones before. I was never one of his followers and I didn’t know much about him. I don’t really care for Piers Morgan but I have seen his show a couple times. IMO that wasn’t a debate for the people saying Alex Jones won it I believe they are followers of Alex Jones already. I watched the interview/debate/show and can say that because of the way Alex Jones acted that people who don’t follow him saw a screaming lunatic and I feel that Jones has just made things worse for those who are pro-gun.

I am very pro-gun and Jones didn’t do us any favors by doing what he did. He portrayed a gun crazy lunatic on there. Many people including myself find it hard to listen to a message when it is being screamed to be honest I can’t even tell you what he said because he just acted like a nut. He did more damage to gun owners than anything. He wouldn’t answer any questions and screamed crap nonstop. The attacks he made against Morgan may be true but no one cares because by doing that he made himself look petty, insecure, and like he couldn’t answer honestly. He had an opportunity to reach another audience but he failed miserably and turned many people off. Jones is an absolute failure as a gun rights activist. Those of you who are defending his actions are blind to the damage he just did.

The gun rights debate is easily won because those who are pro-gun are in the right and the facts support our position but Alex Jones certainly made it look as if we are in the wrong with the way he behaved himself. Jones certainly didn’t gain any credibility from that interview/rant he did. I can say because of his actions I have no intention of ever becoming a listener of his. He acted like a child and completely screwed up a great opportunity to further gun rights. He was an idiot and should have never gone onto Morgan’s show because he was obviously ill prepared. Morgan’s team was probably high fifing each other after the show because Jones made a fool of himself it reminded me of when Tom Cruise went crazy on Oprah show. It was blatantly offal. Morgan didn’t even have to do anything because Jones was a train wreck. Followers of Jones should be pissed off at him for his piss poor performance I swear watching him made me think that Jones is antigun and is trying to discredit gun owners. If his goal was to make gun owners look crazy then he succeeded. Alex Jones is playing for the anti-gun establishment. He is an idiot.

To sum this up I am very pro-gun I dislike Morgan but never knew much about Jones but from that interview Jones came off as the type of person that shouldn’t be allowed to have guns for the people who want to call that a debate the fact is Jones lost he destroyed himself and gave the anti-gun people a poster boy for their cause. He hurt those of us that are pro-gun more than anything.

The only way someone could possibly say that Jones won that “debate” would be because they are a follower of Jones and they are blind to how he made a fool of himself.

They can easily keep their guns simply by registering them.

The government is not after guns, it is after pride. They are not oulawing ownership of assult weapons only of sale and transfer and requiring all existing assault weapons to be registered.

So you can keep all your weapons provided you register them. But you cannot transfer them or sell them to anyone other than the government. It will be upheld by the courts, because the second amendment talks only about the right to bear arms and not about sale and transfer of arms. Requirement of registration need not be treated as an infringement on the right to bear.

So you can swallow your pride and register your assault weapons or become a criminal by not registering them. Criminals will be treated as criminals. Sure the government will come to get the registered assault weapons too, but not before they have arrested and imprisoned the criminals, with the unregistered assault weapons, and after they make another law that requires all the assault weapons to be turned over.

If we see an armed revolt for regime change as soon as the legislation is passed beginning with taking out the legislators who vote for the legislation, we will know the "patriots" mean business. Otherwise it is just empty bravado.

what i own is nobodys business register my assault weapons because someone stole their mom's registered and papered ar-15 to be a t-shirt at best? a movie of the week? no. good people that i shoot with, who have jobs, talents, and prospects are harassed enough on the artificial conundrum that is gripping people in a frenzy to label other people as volatile or subhuman. areas where many people who own many types of guns including auctioning specialized guns (like a browning .30 cal belt fed heavy semiautomatic machine gun with a gatling crank function) have very little murder. i can account my general area to have very little crime. i am in a place where one guy who lived three or four miles away had a 50 cal baretta. shot ponds from 1000 yards away after throwing beercans in it. he has no felonies. i have no felonies or misdemeanors. i don't drive so no traffic tickets. filling out two pages to buy a five round capacity rifle and talking about fishing bounties for an hour and a half is all i'm doing to buy any rifle or pistol from a retailer. idunno maybe the gun show might have more variety and some beef jerky perhaps. this has nothing to do with testosterone, but how i percieve darwinism, causeality, spiritualism, chaos theory, and the ability to survive independantly without any sociopathic interference to live and thrive by my means however i see fit. registering my firearms has nothing to do with access to firearms by prying hands of those with ill will. saying that it does is like saying that a 7 year old has never tried driving his dads locked car after he found the keys. the dad didn't drive it into the neighbors shed but it sure was his car

They both won. I think it was a deliberate set-up to further the divide of the USA. I've said this in another thread that it appeared to me that the way Alex Jones behaved in the interview was deliberate - to make out that all conspiracy theorists are mentally derranged. The feedback from Twitter showed he was generally received as a "nutjob" and I think this was the required result.

This interview was yet another push, in a long line of recent events, meant to divide the people of the USA into two, forcing Truthers and Gun-Owners against Anti-Gunners and all those who believe that the school shootings were done by a Lone-Wolf and that guns kill children.

The interview was emotional brain-washing "in action" but not only for the masses but for truthers too. Most truthers will follow Alex Jones' lead and between them and the pro-gunners, end up being the very "army" that TPTB intended since 9/11. It's horrifying how twisted it all is - they all turned out to be "Sheeple" in the end, even those who thought they had worked it all out.

Gun Control advocates are simply doing things in a gradual way if they cannot get it done outright. The first assault weapon ban under Clinton expired because not enough people supported it. Now they keep using these tragic incidences to push their agenda. Yes they do want to disarm the populace in order to implement the One World Totalitarian govt. There is too much push back and they would go around Congress even if they could, and are out pushing UN Small Arms Treaty bans to override Congress and the People.
Have you heard that Pres O is signing an EO for gun control? I don't think we know what exactly is in it, but it certainly is an end run around Congress and our 2nd Amendment rights.
