OK, first off I don't like Morgan. And secondly, Jones, although right, he came off like a total idiot. I've listened to his show many time but I can't stand is rants. He sounds like a total maniac. Now, if he would calm down he would attract so much more listeners. If I didn't know him and came across the interview I would of changed the channel. WHat the hell was with the Britt accent? Took away all his credibility,

either alex jones is in on this, or, he is such an idiot that he didn't realize he was being set up. alex jones from now on, will be dismissed no matter what "truths" he actually produces, because he didn't prepare himself to be calm, precise, and level -headed.

i think morgan is actually quite brillant...he booked alex jones, for the purpose of discussing gun rights, a clear red flag if i ever seen one, and alex jones should have seen it. he did his homework, and knew alex jones would go off like he did. people who watched this, would now have a stereotype planted in their mind of who the "2nd amendment" types really are......brillant piers brilliant, mission accomplished

What a shill you are.

All that matters is the crime rate, not the gun death rate.

And if you look at the stats, the gun killing rate is high because of gangbangers, who commit 75% of the murders... legalize drugs and the numbers of murder will plummet.

In my opinion Morgan won hands down.

Cool Calm Collectiveness beats Deranged, Psychotic Ramblings any Day of the Week

Whenever there is some kind of popular uprising, TPTB actively seek out the most Deranged, Radical, Unstable Lunatics to give plenty off Air Time - and Enough Rope. In this case Alex Jones.

This Stratergy worked to Destroy

Occupy Wall Street

The Tea Party Movement

The Union Protests

And Now

The 2nd Amendment

Gun owners have no-one but themselves to blame for not quickly distancing themselves from this Raving Lunatic.

Alex Jones has put a Question Mark on the Sanity of all Gun Owners.

Why do you continue to support a man who is doing more harm to your Personal Liberties than Good.

For the sake of your 2nd Amendment - Denounce this man and find a Spokesman who is Cool, Calm and Collected.

I feel it is a bit of a damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of situation, as I can see the logic in both sides. We do not have a gun society here but there has been / is a lot of knife problems, so much so that there was a knife amnesty held several years ago to try and get them off the streets as weapons.
I think the problem is, if you are going to be a bad person you will always find something to use to hurt others regardless if it is legal or not. I despair at the human race some times and don't understand why people do the horrible things that they do.

OK, now is the time to start this idea. We need to start early and talk about it a lot, and also start funneling money into the cause. There is only one option available to us right now, and unfortunately, "right now" is critical in order to win the war. Outspoken, almost crazy sounding is important. We need these guys early andf often so that everyone understands that "crazy" is not necessarily a bad thing.

For that reason, I pledge my support, both as a speaker and with my pocketbook (!) for our next executive branch leaders: Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura for President and Vice President on the GOP ticket. These names alone WILL send a message as to how extreme and serious we are in recognizing the massive conspiracies and threats to America.

Let everyone know - speak up, no matter how fringelike it seems - fake moon landings, faked massacres in Newtown and Aurora, much less on 9-11, when absolutely NOTHING happened at all. Let middle America understand how they need to learn that conspiracy and false flags are always daily events. Did you know that every single fire truck, police car and ambulance in Amerika has ben painted with thermite paint? Do you understand that every single IV started in every patient in every single ER in this Kountry includes an electronic marker chip? The horror is out there, and only a new presidential team will save us. Make sure that you will only support a ticket that knows of conspiracies and intends on making sure sucession from this decayed Union is the ONLY choice left.

Make sure you support the GOP in'16 - God said they will.

Has the mother ship since beamed them up?

I have to agree with you on the calm and collected beats psychotic and emotional point of view. Emotions are good to accentuate what you have to say, but they should not be relied upon to carry your entire argument, or used to dominate opposing arguments.

Personally I don't think there was a debate, it was a rant from Alex Jones, who came across as an tyrannical paranoid idiot, who spouted an awful lot of nonsense, and contradicted himself. I've never really put much credence in Jone's opinions or theories, although I know a lot of people do and will be defending him, so I expect to be roasted, for thinking he is mad as a bag of tits, and shouldn't be allowed to own 1 gun never mind 50. (Why do you need 50 guns?) As much as I hate Piers Morgan, as most people from the UK do, I think Morgan came out on top, I'd imagine the people at CNN figured Alex Jones would rant away, and gave him enough rope to hang himself, which is what he did.

It's up to Americans what you do or don't do with your gun laws, although people should be allowed to comment on them without being bullied and screamed at by a nutter, I think Alex Jones has given the pro gun lobby a kick in the nuts with his behaviour and only strengthened the argument for stricter gun laws.

Yes guns don't kill people, people do, but if the shooter at that school had not been armed with an array of weaponry and armed with an iron bar or a knife, he would have killed less people and more than likely been tackled by someone quicker. All I'll say is a gun is specifically designed as weapon, a knife or iron bar isn't. At the end of the day it's up to the American to decide what their gun laws mean, it needs a proper non-partisan debate and cooler heads than Alex Jones.

Peace

Sadly this has nothing to do with who won or lost the debate because people do not think that way. People base decisions off whom they like or know about, not the information being talked about.

If you hate or don't like Jones you say Piers, and vice versa.

Same thing with Republicans and Democrats, you vote the party even if you don't like what they are saying its totally asinine.

If you think this isn't true just read these replies and I guarantee you can figure out who thinks Jones is a nutjob and who thinks he is not. It's self evident.

Kind of like when Piers had Larry Pratt on and talked over him, calling him a "very stupid man".
OH! But it was done in a calm Brit accent, so that made it acceptable.

Piers got what's coming to him.

Really? If true, that's pretty insane. Where, if anywhere, is the story or proof of this? It's a pretty serious allegation to make without proof, so there's no way I can believe this in good conscience without some sort of evidence.

I don't follow AJ or any of his affiliated sites, I only know what I've seen from his show and online videos, mostly posted to forums such as this. I've always thought he was a kook with the wrong idea and possibly just a good conscience. If what you're saying is true, it's pretty sickening.
