Just think for those out there who have no idea about any of this... They were put off from free thought. The status quo won that night. And that's sad. It won by such a blow out, if it were sports I'd say the fix was in and Jones was on Morgans payroll making him look like cool calm collected genius.

Alex is passionate about what he believes to be happening in this country. He has the facts to back himself up, he looks at the bigger picture of what could happen, not what will happen. I call it a trend line looking at the facts.
Consider what has been happening over the years, removal from the gold standard, NAFTA, Patriot Act, Homeland Security Act (DHS), (TSA), Unnecessary Wars, FEMA Camps, Guns forcible taken in New Orleans…(that was a test) What will be next? Oh, Now comes gun control… and that’s the point, where will it stop?
The man has his opinions, His strategy may not be that good… but still glad to see somebody stand up for what he thinks and believes is happening.
Look at whats happened... No Gold Standard got us in Debt, NAFTA, took our jobs, Patriot Act took our privacy, TSA shows how far they will go, they proved it with New Orleans gun confiscation , now they begin the attack on the constitution… how far before you say enough is enough?edit on 1/8/2013 by Shdak because: added text

Piers Morgan was sacked as the editor of the Daily Mirror last night as the newspaper's board made an unreserved apology for publishing fake pictures of British troops torturing Iraqi prisoners.
Morgan, 39, one of the most controversial tabloid editors of recent times, was dismissed after an afternoon-long board meeting at the Mirror's tower-block headquarters in Canary Wharf, east London.
He was immediately escorted from the building by security staff.

I'm no fan of Morgan and would contribute to a legal fund to keep him out of the UK.
However, Alex is a very poor performer when he has an opponent. He often devolves into childish name calling or fixating on one tangental thought or issue and repeating it. It's a shame because some of the info he breaks is very important. And he is great riffing (riffing not ripping) off a guest and pulling in all the strands for a larger perspective. I just wish he wasn't such an arse, didn't exaggerate so much or make stuff up.
edit to add: can someone please be so generous as to youtube it for us interested foreigners to watch tomorrow.edit on 7-1-2013 by merkins because: (no reason given)

I'm not pro Morgan, but show me one clip, just one, where he mocks a guest on his show because of their voice....
Rambunctious? I'd call it a temper tantrum.

I wasn't suggesting that in the audio-only version my impression of his performance was positive or even did anything to advance his mission or position on the issues he is allegedly passionate about; I was just stating that without the physical communication elements that Jones utilized on Morgan's show or seeing the aggressiveness towards Morgan that came across to the viewer given the close proximity of the two men, Jones seemed to come across in a somewhat different manner in an audio-only experience.

Okay I regress..it was a tantrum........I have not heard PM do that but I have seen him lose his cool too. I thought journalists were supposed to be calm cool and collected, ya know what I mean? I bet CNN got what they hoped for.
