This headline should read "Rare Backbone Found in Putnam County, NY"

I am glad that someone in the system, is using common sense, and representing the people. Backbones are in short order these days.

They arent doing for their constituents. They're doing it for the town officials and the cops who are on the list.

Their backbone only extends to their own asses.

Wouldnt the opposite be true?

A somewhat "intelligent" criminal (assuming there are any) will avoid homes that are armed. Everyone without a gun is now a target.

It depends on the individual case.

Will it deter a break in?
Will they just wait until I'm not home?
Do I own a gun because there's an ex after me?

It doesnt do one thing for all people.

They are doing it, because they live there. Don't sh!t where you eat. Politicians often forget that they live in the USA also. They are mostly in their own world.
