When i was just a baby/boy my parents used to listen to pink floyd , wich basicly set my interest in rock music.
I am 26 but i mostly listen to music from before i was born , like CCR
Over the years i have noticed with me getting older my music taste changed a lot , a development i am really happy with.
One of my Favorite songs : Green river from Creedence Clearwater Revival.

www.youtube.com...

Also Jackson browne with the loadout/stay is one of my all time favorites and proves you dont need biljon dollar studio's to make a perfect song.

www.youtube.com...

Music is a Blessing , i consider it the most beautiful thing ever made by Humans, its power goes way beyond any religon will ever have , it has the power to bring people together , to clubs or shows , but most of all it has the power to express emotions in a peacefull way.

The best Show ever for me was The Flaming Lips on a festival called Pinkpop in The Netherlands back in 06
www.youtube.com...
Its not one of my really favorite bands but i was really blown away by the Passion this band Expressed
The flamings lips : do you realise

Thank you for Posting , Have a good day

Here's one of my all-time favorites:

I was there, right in front of the sound board. You can even just barely hear me yell "That's MY name!" at 2:11-2:12 (sbd had an ambient mic for crowd sounds. The Dead were nothing if not pro.)

Good times...

Best live performance I ever saw was Borat, (the incomparable Sasha Baron Cohen), singing the Kazakh national anthem to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner. The atmosphere created at the rodeo where the performance took place was so poisonous that a horse actually fell over.

It is difficult to see this as a short clip because Google-owned YouTube seems to be blocking it . . . even as a short clip!!!!!

But here is a link to it on another website. I apologize for the moronic "title-overs". Here is this hilarious clip from a movie that actually proves beyond doubt that Americans are very sweet people, but just a little mixed up.

No list is complete without Blind Melon's last major performance in 1995 in Vancouver, Canada. If you are familiar with them only from the goofy "No Rain" song...then you haven't heard the REAL Blind Melon.

Most of these songs are off of the album "Soup".

Every bit as poetic and intense as Jim Morrison...every bit as complex as Led Zeppelin.

Here is a link to the full show on YouTube. Be prepared to be mesmerized and blown away.

All the early videos suck.. Lets see how this goes... Not bad for a Houston Psychedelic Garage Band
www.youtube.com...

I was a Texas Garage Band bass player at one time. I played with every type of band.

Horn sections, Roy Head type band, Chicago type bands, polka band, Progressive Country, Rock.... I played many years. No one would know them.... Played many Dance Halls and Clubs. All the bands knew each other, Even the ones that made it. I have some stories I could tell, but won't

I think the best performance iv seen is when slipknot lost paul grey and performed in europe at sonisphere, so much ferovicity, passion, pain, profesionalisim and tributation, other than that stone soure live is awesome! i have not seen any other bands put out so much passion and dedication onver the last 50yrs.
