I have to pay a $30 a year tax to take a crap.
In my state everyone who has a septic system is levied a seperate tax of $30 a year on their septic system.
the only thing left for the government to tax now is the air we breath.

You can't just pick and choose which taxes you like to pay and not. If you truly find it unfair, work to change it

you said it a lot nicer then I would have. I was going to say if you don't like it move somewhere else. You know perhaps into a third world nation.Come back and tell me how that works out for you

How do you guys think like this and live normal lives. So when the goverment takes 100% of your check to stay afloat a few more months and you complain I'll just tell you go live in a third world country. if you added up all the money the you give to the govenment it's already over 50% of what you make unless of course you are rich then you pay next to nothing.

You own your car regardless if make payments it's your car you paid all fees nessicary to drive said vehicle. Tell me how you think it's ok that you must pay every year to say the vehicle is still yours. Sure the money goes to schools and what not but that's because the money created from taxes goes to everything in the goverment that needs the money. There is no order to their madness. Someone will say "hey the schools need money, where can we get people to pay us money?" "how about we make gun registration every year because we haven't done that yet." they don't have plans they just take money from whereever and vehicle registration is one of those places.

Hey op, I haven't read the entire thread so i'm not sure if this has been said already but with Nevada not having state income tax, the registration tax is the way they fund road projects and what not. I am no happier than you are about the high price of vehicle registration, or the scam of smogging your vehicle yearly. Overall taxes in Nevada are pretty low compared to other states imo.

Good points on all the taxes that are built into the system tho!

I lived in Vegas and did the smogs for the state for 5 years in Anthem. I had mixed feelings on the smogs because I would fail cars for OBD2 related errors like a gas cap and charge them to retest when I know they would pass the tail pipe test. I was just following orders and I did my best to cut breaks when I could. The valley is full of smog so I see the neccisity but it's a double edge sword. But when I did registrations for over 2,500$ I was like damn. The casinos pay a ton to the state that's why they have no state tax. I hate when the rich get picked on just as much when anyone else gets singled out. The smog system was corrupt but they fixed it by matching VINs to the obd2 computer but anything 95 and older is slipping through the cracks still.

Have you ever considered why we have it better in the U.S.?

Because long ago our ancestors stood up for their rights, and numerous generations since.

We have let the banks take control of the government, and now we get screwed every which way we turn.

and until we do something about it, it will get worse, until we are just another 3rd world nation, and the PTBs will have won.

Settling for mediocrity and being the biggest turd in the septic tank is not what made this country great. that`s a defeatist attitude and that`s exactly what is destroying the country. Rather than settling for the being the best of the worst we should continue to strive to be the best of the best like our ancestors ,who built this country, did.

if we become 1 notch above the worst 3rd world country some fools will still be saying "well if you don`t like it there is still 1 country worse than ours you should move there"

being content with not being the worst has never made a winner.

UN Agenda 21 has as part of it's program getting people out of their cars and onto bikes or walking everywhere, which is why they use buzzwords like "bikeable". Rosa Koire says in her book "Behind the Green Mask" that they are trying to make it so we cannot even afford cars. Maybe there really is something to all this taxation besides just generating money for local governments and roadways. Rosa also says that there are biking groups which are helping to promote riding bikes instead of driving cars. The Agenda 21 people seem to think that cars contribute too much co2 and therefore are unsustainable.
Again, maybe the excessive taxation on our homes and cars and gasoline is to keep us from affording them, and to curtail our affluence.

We all pay because we realize that money is necessary to move the wheels of progress. We need to keep things going. Balancing everything is the trick.

But in reality, power is the only truth. If you do not want to pay the tax then use your power against the one that comes to collect the tax. In other words, if you can destroy before being destroyed then by all means necessary do it. Are you willing to kill everybody that comes to collect the tax? That will make a good show. It will certainly be interesting to watch. Who will win? Can you kill them all? Do you suppose they may try to kill you?

Use the force.

How did we go from vehicle registration to murder/killing tyrants.

The problem isn't taxes it's the govenment is out of money. If you need to take 20% of my paycheck to cover what I use fine. The momement you ask for more I want to make sure the first 20% isn't being squandered. And that's what the goverment does is just tax more and the people are like whatever you say master.

just move to montana we have permanent registration for cars here pay once and never again for the whole life of the car,i have it on my 2000 f150 my 1999 jeep grand Cherokee and my 1967 olds torronado.

when i found out about it being an option when i went to the dmv for the first time it literaly blew my mind that i only had to pay 190(the most) for my truck and 85 for permanent registration of my olds.its amazing for the rest of my cars life there is one less thing a cop can pull me over for and it confuses the hell ouf of the few cops that have pulled me over when i was voyaging out of state doj.mt.gov...

Exactly, who believed in a strong federal government to keep the bankers in check.

They supported a government whose main job was to protect our liberties, and in a small military that stayed out of world affairs.

That's not available everywhere. I'm sure they put that option in so that people actually pay registration in the back woods. "we know you won't pay every year because a cop can't be seen for miles but if we give you the option to pay for a lifetime you'll probably take it"
