I see that a number of Holocaust deniers have turned up on this thread and have started to pour their filth out all over the page. "Holocaust porn"? Such ignorant comments are beneath contempt. I've alerted the mods.

Just out of curiosity, what do you propose should be done to all the Israelis if and when the Arab Palestinians regain their homeland? Should they be sorted out by degree of secularism? Allegiance to Zionist principles? Ethnic origins? Then what? Move them to Norway? Give the really Zionist ones a place to live in your home? Seriously, what is your ultimate solution to the Israel question?

You know so many people use this argument against the concept of Palestine, and blatantly ignore what is right in front of them. Is there any and I mean ANY problem if there is a joint government? There will be the problem of extremists from both sides, but all we need to do is try them and have them punished for their crimes. It is the leaders causing the problems. Not the people. If the people are in power, then there will be less prejudice, less hate mongering, and less anti-Israel or anti-Arab crimes.

Hopefully people will now that to behave themselves and post meaningful responses instead of Holocaust-denying rubbish.

I think you need to ease up a bit and not interfere with people's freedom of speech.

There is no area of taboos in free societies; if you can have Mohamed Cartoons then you can have in-depth discussions about the Holocaust. There are plenty of inconsistencies in the Holocaust issue such as overlooking the millions of Romani, socialists and German patriots against Hitler being exterminated in the concentration camps.

It was not just Jews that faced genocide in the Holocaust but it included blacks in Europe and the European Romani population.

The Holocaust is not a sacrosanct subject but it has been hyperpoliticised for an agenda of exceptionalisms and exploitation. We need to address these agendas too.

You do realize that the Holocaust is not the topic of this thread, don't you? This is supposed to be a discussion of the Simon Wiesenthal Center's pick of the top ten Jew-haters and Israel Bashers of the year.

You do realise my comment was directed at someone specifically referring to "Holocaust Deniers" as he described people who are appalled by the pronouncements of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre?

I answered your question via U2U as your comment did not relate to the portion of my post that you quoted whatsoever, and then you proceed to accuse another member's post to be off topic which is rather ironic.

But I will answer your question in the thread as well even though it has nothing to do with the topic of the OP.

In my opinion the only solution to the Israel question is a time machine because it appears nothing will ever fix the problems of that region so we are only left with one option and that is going back in time and not allowing several things to ever happen.

There are a series of events that have occurred and if things had happened differently we would not need organizations such as the Simon Wiesenthal Center to exist, and these lists would have no reason to exist as well.

ETA:

I hate to act like a mod as it's not my place to do so but can we please keep this on topic and stay civil? I would like to research some of the claims on the list to see whether or not everything that was listed is true or if it has been misrepresented.

This is hardly a reasonable outlook and certainly impractical. It also evades the intent of my question which, I will admit was intended more to sound your feelings about Jews than to explore the topic of the thread. I won't distract from this love fest any further. Thank you for your reply.

Helen Thomas gave the best advice. Go back to where you came from. Israel has collected billions over the years from other countries from around the world for what happened to them during WW2 even though these countries fought for their freedom. And seeing how Israel offers people money to move to Israel then they can pay for them to move back home whatever is left should be given to the Palestinian people. Then the Jews that lived there before Israel was formed can go back to living in peace with their neighbors.

Impractical. You want all the Sephardic Jews to go home to North Africa so that they can be persecuted? Or the Askkenazic Jews to go back to their old ghettoes in Eastern Europe? Yeah, like that'll work.

You do know that Israel is already trying to get rid of Sephardic Jews?

I doubt that, given that approximately half the Jewish population of Israel are Sephardic.

I'm unsure what you are implying. I sense a hint of joking/sarcasm but my only intention was to get the thread back on topic and to prevent back and forth bickering which may lead to the thread being closed again.

This is not directed towards you but there are participants in this thread who appear to be here to derail the thread and cause conflict.

My main focus is the list, the content of that list, and the motives of those who created the list. I've been rather busy so I have not yet had the chance to research all the claims that were listed.

Just who do you believe I am "cooperating" with?

A villa in Monaco would be nice though

Just joking....I am still in my "be funny and smile more" new years resolution mode.
.....But please never do it...Even for that Villa in Monaco.
...OK,OK I'll stop...

The motives of the people who created the list are transparent. The year was coming to an end and people's thoughts turned to charitable causes for tax purposes. By issuing a press release inflammatory enough to get broad publication, the Simon Wiesenthal Foundation reminded people that they are still in business, even though the number of WWII vintage war criminals left to be unmasked is now vanishingly small.

That is nothing more than your opinion based on your biased observations. An unbiased person would question the transparency of the motives of the Simon Wiesenthal Center due to the simple fact that the Iranian Regime made that list even though the reasons they used for justification have been proven to be untrue. Also, they put a cartoonist, and media outlets for criticizing Israeli atrocities and tried to compare this criticism to Anti-Semitism...these are unbiased factual observations on my behalf which indicate the motives for that list are not are not as transparent as you claim.

Simon Wiesenthal was a "Nazi Hunter" but the Center named after him is not as you must have not read the OP which explains the purpose of the Simon Wiesenthal Center which is nothing more than a Zionist propaganda outlet. I linked their "about us" page in my OP.

I believe in free speech but this organization abuses their right to free speech when they use their "influence" to try and suppress the free speech of other individuals and organizations by incorrectly portraying or purposely mistranslating them.

The list includes both anti-Semites and haters of Israel. Your own quotation shows that! Since the official policy of Iran is that Israel should not exist, and they are known to train and fund Hezbollah, an unbiased person would have to acknowledge that they belong on that list.

Also, they put a cartoonist, and media outlets for criticizing Israeli atrocities and tried to compare this criticism to Anti-Semitism...these are unbiased factual observations on my behalf which indicate the motives for that list are not are not as transparent as you claim.

Again, the list includes both Anti-Semites and haters of Israel. You might object to them being lumped together, but most Israelis would not. It is only your own need to justify your "impartiality," ie; hating Israel, hating Zionism and hating Jews are three entirely different and separate things, that causes you to try to tease out fine distinctions.

Speaking of motivations, why have you chosen to give this list additional publicity by posting it here? What end do you think it will serve?
